Shelly are you there ?
I saw Rose Tapp to- day the one who I thought the headstone could belong to.? but they are not , .she came from West Ham but her
Husband came from Essex one of 13 children.
Rose is 88 .she called him her toy boy as he was younger than her..she said he had joined up when the war was on for the Navy and ended up down the mines as white Helmet wearer. she did make me laugh.

I will keep checking on the graves site incase something comes up on my family.ancestors..

I went across and posted my Grandson's Christmas card to Oman and some others also a calendar the post office was empty the cards to the forces are free to send.

I went and brought some fruit from Waitrose and they was full of people stocking up ready for the bad weather.but surprised to say it is not at all cold out infact it is warm. .I hope it stays like this.

Pauline,

Snow on my Birthday !

The day I was born was during the worst winter on record for years.

From what I've been told there was snow up to our window cills that day. I was born at home, like all the rest of my family. Don't remember much about it though. LOL.

Getting ready to go for a wee walk in the snow with my family. Two or three hours should be fine.

Fun and frollicks in the snow with the grandaughters

The weather is glorious today. Bright sunshine, no wind. Fantastic.

Catch you all later.

I'm gonna send some cake down the Cyber Hatch.and some bubbly to wash it down with......................Get Ready it's coming............NOW

Oh dear STEPHEN you had me worried there for a moment ? when you said you felt like a new man. that could be taken two ways.
enjoy your walk and make sure you dry your feet when you get home, that is how flu and bad colds come wet feet.

Rita

waiting for my bubbly and cake to come down the shute.

I telephoned my daughter to wish her a happy birthday . she is having a lot of pain with her foot. The Doctors had no vacanies . I told her, she should have asked for a call out , as she is not able to go out at all or drive. she ordered her shopping on line this morning.. she didnt like to ask for a call out but I told her she must . she said her foot was so red and swollen up badly as she is also a diabetic she cannot take chances .
she was playing with a game machine her husband had brought her.got her birthday..sitting on the soffa.(her Granddaughter )
My Great Granddaughter Megan the one I speak to you about. .has to go back into Hospital Monday to The Chelsea Hospital in London, her last operation didnt go well , and so they need to do tests on her bowel and if she needs another operation, they are going to do it on Thurday, .she is 9 years old. she is not worried about the operation. what did she worry about. ? losing time off school , the school send in the social people if a child has a lot of time off school. as she is now, in and out of hospital with this same trouble she got worried They told her at the hospital not to worry . they have a classroom and she can work in there while in the hospital doing her school work. , she was all smiles.
It is a shame when a child has the worry of missing school. . and wondering. ? if they will take her away from her mummy and Daddy that was what was bothering her.
So it seem the family are still having troubles. through illness.
when will it end ?

Rita, your daughter should call out the emergency doctor. Bless her she should not have to be in so much pain.
And as you say, she is diabetic, and has to be very careful with any ailments she gets. I have to watch Roly like a hawk,as he is diabetic also.
I was so touched to read what your G.G Grandaughter was worried about.
It's surprising what goes through a childs mind, and what they worry about.
I do hope that the Chelsea hospital can sort her out, she has suffered enough in her short life.
Hopefully she will be over the worst of the op by christmas,so that she can enjoy herself.

Rita, it sounds like Rita J's foot is really bad, if it doesn't get any better she'll have to call the doctor out. The only other thing would be to get a taxi to a walk-in centre.

I don't think Megan needs to worry about missing school, she won't get into trouble for being ill.

Maddie, that photo was great, you looked lovely - so sweet ............and posh, with your matching dress, coat and bonnet.

Yvonne, I hope your OH gets the chance to have Boxing Day off as well as Christmas Day.

And you know what Mo's like, a wine gum and a glass of water is enough to make her legless.

Where's Shelly and Marilyn today?

Hope the birthday boy is having a good day.
