Do you reckon that person who is rambling on about blood groups on the GR FB page does not understand what Genes reunited is?

I think he is trying to reunite the blood groups to the right region

Why do we have to have these hyper links or whatever they are called?

It takes 5 minutes for anything to happen once I click on them, just to find out its scottish :-D

Bring back c & p I say... and if people dont know how to do it they can learn just like I had to :-)

Wonder why it takes so long ja...x - when I do it, it just takes seconds.

It's not all Scottish on that thread but just wondered if you had any thoughts really. :-D

OOhhh - How strange! - A time and date has appeared all by it's self just by my 'sachertorte'.

I can assure you all that this would be the date 'when made' and NOT the 'Best before' date!! - My produce is always fresh ! :-D

OOhhh - Cynthia, you had me worried there.

The way I read your post I thought I had got my days confused and was preparing Sunday Lunch when it was, in fact, only Saturday!! - hence your smiley comment.

Just checked though and it IS Sunday - I now see what you actually meant :-D :-D

Enjoy your 'busy' day.

Myths........: Bottled water is safer than tap water
Would you drink a liquid containing chemicals that may have been exposed to pesticides, man-made fertilisers and even radioactive materials and destroys the environment? Then you will probably be happy to pay 1,500 times the going rate to drink water from a plastic bottle.
Tap water is subject to stringent health and safety requirements. It is continuously tested and safe to drink. Bottled waters often come from exactly the same sources as tap water - in fact some are tap water.
Much bottled water is prepared with lower safety standards than tap water, and it consumes vast resources to bottle, ship, market and sell it. That's why it costs around 1,500 times more per drink than tap water, which is safe, cheap, convenient and by the far the most eco-friendly way to get water.

Now I know why I never buy bottled water...

Gee

Gee Report 10 Jul 2011 11:26

And where in goweds name did that come from Fanny!

I drink tap water when available but always buy bottled water rather than pop when Im out and about

jax

jax Report 10 Jul 2011 14:16

I would buy bottled water if I was on holiday abroad, but it always made me smile when working as a waitress water was free in the restuarant but there was always the few who insisted on bottled...but it did come in a glass bottle rather than plastic.

We never opened the bottles ourselves either, that was down to the punter to do

How come that it is sooo quiet on here and Fanny Pants is on the boards!

Dea

Dea Report 10 Jul 2011 14:44

Well,

I ALWAYS drink bottled water, even when I am at home in the U.K.

The water in my house leaves black streaks in the toilets, a black residue on the tap heads and gives my tea a sludgy film on the top which stains all down the cup, it makes fruit cordials cloudy and foamy !!

It may well be healthy Ja....x, and cheaper, but I will not drink it ;-)

Just come back from my 'Anniversary Lunch' out !!

What a disappointment!

It was lovely to go out as I don't get out very much nowadays and the place had a very nice atmosphere, the staff were excellent and the 'cheesy garlic bread to nibble while we waited was just 'to die for' !!

However, my meal was awful and the wine cost £6 per glass !! (Just 'house white' - quite acceptable but nothing special!)

I won't be going there again ! :-D

Hubby's meal was quite nice so not a total waste of time then.
