Gins --- I can truthfully say I have never seen an 1860 marriage cert -- so have no idea ---you could always ask Dally on FB

Can some one help me please -- I have been clicking and wondering all over Ance'''tree for several hours -- looking for this first marriage ---

my girl is Annie Louisa --- now Fans/Jax found the Povey marriage -- and Annie has a son William Palmer on the 1911 census -- living with my Gr grandpa -- Fans found WWI records for Povey at the address given is Gt Grandpas -- so that looked certain --- but who/what is the 1908 marriage -- did he die and which did she marry --------------Help please

Marriages Dec 1908
GERRIE John Lumaden W Weymouth 5a 729 ---source Dea Not him

PALMER Annie Louisa Weymouth 5a 729
WHITE Gilbert Harry Weymouth 5a 729

Marriages Jun 1915
Palmer Annie L Povey Weymouth 5a 857
Povey Ernest G Palmer Weymouth 5a 857

Thanks Renes xxx

Thinks you will need a childs birth for her maiden name then Gins?

Thank you for the advice ladies and Fanny

FannyPants, will you be up before 11am tomorrow!!!!!!!

Renes Report 4 Apr 2011 15:44

Dea

Oh thats great --- thanks so much --- so I presume little William Palmer born before 1911 census -- in 1911 - is possibly his son --- strange

when I eventually wrap all my loose ends -- will list Annie and her bits and bobs --- for final certs --- just to see who/what happened --
Thank you ----- Dea

Amazing -- these odd and end people -- end up taking ages ---- Joseph Gillett with his many named children from many named double widowed widows has taken me hours and hours and hours

--- and there is still a Fred Gillett/Harrison/Doyle -- born in Sussex -- who suddenly appeared aged 17 and listed as Son ------------but they never said Whose bloomin Son

Renes...
Why on earth are you using Ancs BMD for such an early marriage?
Freebmd is so much better for that as it pairs them up so not so many to check?

Er.....genealogy......on THIS thread....how very dare you!

The visit to the dentist went fine....and no, he didn't fall down the big black hole of my mouth thank you Fans.

I don't have adblocker on so I get the adverts. There is one from BT which reminds me of Fans every time it pops up.............several sets of chattering false teeth skittering around.........love it!

Well I have Ans'¿¿tree for 3 weeks and have not been able to find
b¿gger all

Thought they had those detailed marriage that give witnesses etc that I have seen on other posts

Also thought they had Parish Marriages -- again seen the posted

But the allude me

The most interesting thing is the Trees --- what a load of cods --most are just straight postings from the census --no attempt to check details in Parish Records or anywhere else --

seen one of my rellies --- only one in the village baptised with that name and parents - 15 years each side -- with 9 different spouses --

I must say when I look at my work and sources -- I give my self a halo

Well you are useless then Renes lol

They have london ones and a few others scattered about the country but not like FMP.
Its only the london ones that are detailed very handy for me as almost mine married there

Yeah some of those trees are quite interesting Renes

Renes Report 4 Apr 2011 19:19

Yeah ---- those are the kind I thought they had

all I ever see is the FreeBMD ones -- that I had any way --so what are they doing just linking into the Freebmd as they transcribe ¿

Very disappointing -- thought I may solve last bits .. odd death odd marriage -- no brick walls --
