I didn't take any HRT either


I took lots of Vit C and Vit E .......... which were what was then touted as being good



and still get a bit of summer many many years later!

Mum has been suffering with hot flushes for about 25 years now, I cannot tolerate heat now but think its the MS...maybe its not??

Someone who reads the boards MC and likes to comment about whats going on.... but not a paying member anymore I believe

Soya milk helped me. I recommended it to my doc who said she was going to try it.......lol I got through the whole process with mostly good grace thank goodness.


Sylvs.....double arrrrrggggghhhh re your paperwork. It must be a nightmare for you.

She perhaps has a thyroid problem Ja....x ??

I certainly don't think it is due to the menopause - she is beyond that now !

I still get the odd hot flush, and it's over 20 years for me!


and I've heard of other people where they linger on.

Not many flashes, but one or two a month ........... and suaully much much lighter and shorter than before.

It was HID's mums 86th birthday yesterday his dad is just a toy boy not 86 until November lol

Been adding a few more ancestors to my tree. Its looking better with these baptisms and marriages outside of london that can now be found on anc*stry

Doing a branch from Hertfordshire, quite nice when they stay in the area quite a few marriages with full details of fathers names which is making it easier.

With the FB tree thingy I cant understand having a free tree when you need to subscribe to something to add the records...well thats what I like to do, thats why I prefer my anc*stry tree. Need to work out how to add a photo now...should really share it as I know a couple of grandaughters of the children in this photo would probably like it.

Never find anything on familysearch...is it all northern stuff?
