I've spent the morning trying to make sense of all the medical bills so we can get ready to file our income taxes

...............it's OH's dental bills that are the problem!

We have Patient Ledger statements, Payment Record sheets, insurance company claim forms (returned from them without reimbursement), credit card slips.

It took me hours to work out which matched which .... and then which ones we did NOT need.

ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

and THAT was after he came home yesterday with quote " the final payment"

It meant that the total he's paid was 50% higher than the estimate

I went into meltdown at the thought of how much we now owe on the Line of Credit.

Good job we've paid for the trip east in July .... or we wouldn't be going!

Dea, Lambing LIve is a programme with Kate Humble and Adam Henson on a farm in Cumbria (?) It's lambing time so we get all the fun of the farm so to speak. So cute they are.

Mind you, knowing her, she will probably go 'OTT' on the 'hot flushes' for goodness knows how many years !!!

I don't know which would be worse ???

Good job JB still has a job to go out to or he would be in a right state if he had to stay home all day !!

Me too, Sylvia. Have been lucky no HRT, nothing. Still have the odd "personal summer" but nothing too bad.

On FB - who does that Sillyvia think she is?

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 6 Apr 2011 21:27

Cyn

the paperwork we have to put together for the taxes is horrendous!

then our financial advisor has to put it all together in the right format.

Our medical bills alone will be over $45,000 (or ca £20,000) ................... and almost all of that is OH's dental bills.

That amount is claimed against OH's net income (ie after tax paid, charitable donations, association/union dues, etc have been deducted), and is refunded after certain conditions are met

.............. I really wouldn't be surprised to find that the medical total is very close to being the same net income!

I don't think they refund that much!
