I was sending pm's back and forth to this person yesterday but have no idea whether anyone else was helping.

Out of the blue a couple of weeks a go I got a few pm's asking me if this person born 19XX was still alive....no details just maiden name and married name kept saying if you buy the birth cert i maybe able to find a death if there was one.

When saying the same thing yesterday I am informed that they had both marriage and birth certs aghhhh so found out this person they thought was his/her mother had married someone else so was not the correct person. If I had been told this a couple of weeks ago it would'nt have needed to go to that board where there could be a lot of confusion going on

When they first started this new board I posted something that turned into a slanging match on there in the end because of the said person...I was asked to delete by one person... but thought NO let them get on with it

and that is the reason why I developed a board name not long after I started posting on GR

I don't know whether she is actually still on GR or not .... there is a person with the same name but not sure. But a lot of trouble used to be caused, and I got fed up of having to add a byline to posts to distinguish myself.

Listen to the woman about washing walls from the bottom up.

I thought it was dumb.

The streaks on the dark mauve-y rose semi-gloss walls in my little front airlock hallway attest to the smartness of it.

The cleaning solution dribbles down the wall, cleaning as it goes. For some reason, those streaks just stay double-clean.

It may be that if I scrubbed some more to try to get the rest of the walls as clean as the streaks they'd go away, but I think I tried that at the time ...

But surely, if you clean from bottom up, you will still get the cleaning solution dribbling down the wall?

Only this time it will dribble down on the clean wall, and leave dirty streaks?

Morning all. just! Nearly lunchtime in fact!

Been busy and been out and, after lunch, I am going to see my poorly friend who seems to be improving. She has been moved to a nursing home close to where she lived so it's not so far to travel for me.
