Weather here is nice and sunny....yipee its nearly the weekend :-)

Breakfast is ready


Tea, coffee, juices


Cold cereals:-
Corn Flakes, Raisin & Almond Oatmeal Crisp, Raisin Bran, MultiGrain Cheerios, Honey Shreddies

Hot cereal:-
Porridge, Maple Nut Instant Oatmeal, Red River Cereal


In the warmer:-

bacon, sausage patties, turkey sausages, chef's potatoes, omelette, grilled tomatoes, fried bread


Buttermilk Dollar Pancakes, French toast, Maple syrup, Cherry Fruit Syrup


Toast, Danish, croissants, crumpets

Jams, jellies, Ginger marmalade, marmite, peanut butter, vegemite

I think that S G is the one who was the cause of me making sure I could be distinguished from her!

she only used her first name on here

Some people were a bit wary of me in the first few months I was a member, and I did spot some postings by her that made me use a sginature that showed I was definitely not her.


If I remember correctly, that S used to post on Chat, and cause trouble all the time

I never checked her surname ............ but the style seems very reminiscent ...... I think she was eventually banned ....................and she pals around on fb GR with others who have been banned from this site.

Why oh why do men insist on using the grubbiest towels in the house....the towels that are there for mop ups

I went to the wash basket and there they were...full of holes and tears and the lovely soft, white fluffy ones still in the chest....and there must be about 10 bath sheets and the same number of bath towels

Well, I wont be washing them anymore, they went in the bin, so they'll have to use nice towels

Dear oh dear....what a shame :P

Wonder where everyone has got to? Ja...x is usually around during the day.......hope you're okay ja...x.

I had a go at the inside of the windows in the garage....yuk! OH had summat to say cos I'd shifted a spider and dead butterfly.

I couldn't face cleaning my windows - It looks 'foggy' outside but at least I see no streaks !! - If I clean them, I will be seeing streaks all over !

Victoria Day on Monday



that's 'cos May 24 (Tuesday) was Queen Victoria's birthday


and we still celebrate it!!





it's also considered the start of the summer season all across the country

....... time to plant your garden if you haven't already done that .......... and if the snow has gone :))))))


........ time to open up the cabin, summer cottage, etc etc

....... time to put out and clean the garden furniture ...... as long as the snow has gone!

that reminds me of yesterday



had an appointment to have my hair cut. Allowed 45 minutes for a 10 minute bus ride (on 2 buses)


First bus ......... waited over 20 minutes, then 2 arrived together

Second bus ......... waited 10 minutes, then one arrived. Not the one I really wanted because it would drop me a little further away from the shop. But better than nothing!


Walked into the hairdressers at the exact time of my appointment!



I hate running it that close!!


and being out of breath 'cos I've hurried!
