Why do I keep getting 'spitted out' from here onto Friends Re-united and their dating pages?

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me they want to join them ??

I get shifted onto the other sites sometimes Dea. Can't make up my mind whether my cursor has passed over the advert or it's a ploy by GR to get us to look at their other sites......??

Well anybody who is bored can just search the boards for anything by

m a n f r o m m a r s or his former incarnation t e l e g r a m s a m

and have enough to keep them busy for a year.

H3ll, you could just volunteer to be his personal genealogist and be busy for the rest of your life, I'd say ... between his ancestors and their inlaws and his ... friends ...

I've had enough for a lifetime, I can tell ya that.

No thanks Janey,

I read your essay in response to his comments, and I think it is wise for me to leave well enough alone! I think you have that matter in hand!

my phone provider makes me laugh

I should start by saying that the phone is in my OH name. I just rang to pay the bill, the operator asks how much I would like to pay because she cannot disclose the amount owing because it is not in my name. Fair enough you may say, I say I will pay the full amount whatever that may be and the operator takes the card details. To end the conversation she says £xx has been debit to the account and that the payment has gone through.

So much for not disclosing the amount. I know she was talking about my card rather than the phone bill it just tickled me :-)

Lol Toots

Most of the bills I pay over the phone it is a automated message person.

Its ok when I ring they can understand me, but HID always gets the "Sorry did you say xyz" he gives up in the end

jax Report 31 May 2011 11:29

As HID as been out of work more than he has worked in the last two years I made him go to the job centre this time. He has not claimed a thing while out of work.

I mentioned carers allowance for me but he just shrugged it off, anyway went to the job centre and because he has a small pension they would not give him much, so they suggested carers.

Letter came today saying he can have it....so he better start caring now :D

TootyFruity Report 31 May 2011 11:37

For most of my bills it's direct debit or automated person, its just this one I get to speak to real person.

jax Report 31 May 2011 12:34

Oh well Physio people came, not what I expected more interested in getting things that may help around the house.

They are sending me a frame to fit arounf my toilet so I dont have to push myself up from the toilet roll holder and a perching stool for the bathroom and maybe another for the kitchen.

About time I got something for free, just need the occupational therapist to come round now to sort something out for the bath so I can get in and out safely

Hi ja...x glad they've been...had a feeling that's what they would be about. Lots of aids available now - make sure you get all that you need. How about a raised toilet seat.......my mum found that really, really useful? Just ask them cos, to be honest, you probably have more of an idea of what you need than they have!

Lost my hairbrush yesterday. The world was obviously about to end! As it doesn't leave the bedroom I couldn't think what I had done with it. Got on all fours and crawled round the bed peering underneath - that was a mistake! Checked all drawers and cupboards. Delved into the wash basket . Nope. Nowhere to be found :(

This morning, I lay in bed musing over what I had done when I last used it..........and a thought struck me. I got up, and opening the clothes cupboard, I lifted out two cardies which I washed and put away......and there, dangling from one of them was my hairbrush. Its bristles had caught in the fabric. One happy bunny :-D

Half term so, ironing here I come...... ;-)

jax

jax Report 31 May 2011 13:48

Glad you found your hairbrush Cyn. Its one of those things you dont normally have a spare of I find.

No my mum had a raised toilet seat when she had her hip replacement, and I found it very uncomfortable when I used it when I was fit and healthy, Its also one of those things that need to be moved out if healthy people are in the same house...I will stick with the frame for now
