Either...make bread or buy it

Bread makers are so not right...they give you the smell and that makes you feel good/proud

Get yer elbows in or go to the local baker

I shall start saving for one of those breadmakers then MC...

I cant knead bread enough due to auntyritis as I am sure Jax would never be able to either so breadmakers are a good thing for some of us...

jax

jax Report 22 Jun 2011 21:21

I bought mine thinking it would be easy then my parents got involved telling me to do this and that.... To buy this ingediant ect... so I did'nt bother in the end....yeah great if I went shopping but HID never thinks to ask what I want

Online shopping Jax??free delivery from most stores locally isnt it?Never done it myself or I really NEVER would get out...But you could give it a go ?

My breadmaker came with the basic recipes, and some fancy ones...But it does make pretty good bread with anything I chuck in it.

I used to do online tescos and Asda but our household agreement is that he buys the food, fags and booze and I pay for everything else rather than him give me rent.

As he has'nt worked that much over the last year I am more or less paying for everything plus shopping as his incomings do not amount to much at the moment

As our Morrisons is only two minutes walk away for him it would be a bit silly getting it delivered

Hi everyone

Grace I hope everything goes well for you and your daughter doesn't get bullied again.

Persie I hope they get to the bottom of what is causing your granddaughter so much pain.

It seems the site is definitely moving forward.

Hi all!

I have a bread maker, and I have to say it actually makes the best foccacia base. I haven't used it for awhile though. It is nice bread when you get around to baking it!

We had a great baker near us, but they seemed to have changed a bit and the bread often doesn't taste that fresh which is a shame.

Freezing here today, it is supposed to keep raining. The weather is going through a patch where you just can't seem to get warm at all. I've had the heater on so high lately, I am a shuddering to think what myu gas bill will be!

I dropped my girl off to creche this morning, hopefully she will be okay. I hate the thought of her getting bullied. She is and will be an only child, so I always worry in case she doesn't make friends. Silly as I know she is only little, but I have a big family so always had people around, and my friends all have much older children. She went in okay after looking around the room first. Unfortunately as they won't tell me who bit her, I don't know how to warn her to stay away from them.

Hey I worked out how to look at your hot matches. If I click to view them and it brings up say two matches although it tells me I have 55 matches wth that person, I can only see them if I select discarded matches and they come up, even though I have never discarded matches from the people concerned before. A bit strange so I am not sure what is going on!

Persephone Report 23 Jun 2011 02:32

My friend only uses her breadmaker for making pizza base..I have had her pizza and it is very good. Maybe I should suggest she make foccacia bread...One of our supermarkets has started making pumpkin and chives bread, it was very moreish but not all of the same chain of supermarkets make it the same way some are so much better than others.

It is hard when they are so little Grace... when my youngest was at Kindergarten she came home and told me there was a boy there that lifted her skirt to see her knickers and kept on putting his arm around her. I knew his mum... but I bypassed teachers and mother and just told him straight. That was the end of the matter. Later they both went to the same private school and he was always in trouble.. he couldn't just make paper darts to fly around the classroom he had to put pins in the pointy bit. He will have probably done well as his dad was a high flyer with plenty of money.

Persie, and a pic of her own lamppost
