Is it just me .... when I click "My threads" I get the white screen of death "we are performing seals doing essential service on the pool and unless you feed us more fish we apologize etc etc."

It's just you Robert! :-P

Gins, B & M bargains is also a popular place for that sort of deal. One opened here a few months ago. Pounds shops are popping up all over the place but I think you have to be savvy with what they offer sometimes. I saw some Cadbury's choc in one and thought it was a bargain......then I realised it wasn't the size of the block I usually get.

I go to a local bargain shop and their 4ltrs of milk is only 88p. I buy and freeze. Yes, you can freeze milk.....I checked. Been doing it for ages now. Very handy in the winter time I can tell you.

Don't need any scrubbers thank you.....my skin is soft enough :-P

Have been to see my 'poorly' friend (note the inverted commas), and she is just soooo good. She gets upset when she sees me (I seem to have that effect on some people!) but then we chat away naturally. Her mobility is improving all the time. I would love to give her medics from last year, a piece of my mind I can tell you!!

Persie my dear you will not eat well if that is going to be your lampost hangout...Not enough passing trade there I would have thought. You need a good prominent one down Soho or Paddington, but stay away from Finsbury Park and Kings Cross as the clientele are not so wealthy round those places ... :-D

Hi all

Glad your friend is doing well Cyn

Dea someone has asked for help on your thread...

I asked someone on LR to remove some personal details and after I explained why she came back to ask how to remove it....within 10 minutes it was reported???? Why on earth would someone do that when she has just asked what to do?

Oh well she seems ok about it

Fag and Emmerdale now

Cynths - It is SO lovely to see that your 'poorly' friend is doing SO well !!!

Miracles 'do' happen then??

SO sad that her husband is not around to see her amazing recovery.
