See I've been volunteered for karaoke duties - I'm a rubbish singer. Might be able to get a certain band to do a few tunes .........

I've got an appointment for 2:30 pm tomorrow afternoon ........... couldn't unfortunately get in to see the Dr I've been seeing all year. But that's OK.

OH was cooking 2 hard-boiled eggs (for salad) on Monday

He turned the 'lectric on full, pan about ¾ full of water, lid on


then went away.

I saw the pan there, thought "he knows what he's doing"



"THUNK" about 30 minutes later as 2 eggs exploded



Do you know how far the debris from 2 exploding eggs can go?



It also destroyed the small pan that we bought only a few months ago to replace the one that he damaged by


yes




forgetting about 2 eggs that he was boiling!




so I have to go out and buy a new pan!



and then get him to climb a ladder and clean up ALL the little bits that are still stuck high on the walls and even a bit on the ceiling :-D

I dont spell check either and I touch type....even if not very well.

U'm a 2 -finger tpist, have to look at the keyboard when I typ ......... and can make the most incredible speeling mistakes!



so I automatically edit and proof read before I psot


and still pos some of the weirdest spellings :-D

I know the feeling with boiled eggs exploding...I left at least a dozen boiling away once.

Now I have my toaster that boils eggs not a problem now, although it only cooks maximum of four at a time

Just be thankful that no-one was in the kitchen when they exploded - It could have had awful results! (I was going to say catastrophic but couldn't remember how to spell it ?? :-D) !!

It has been used on a regular basis for over 3 years and still working fine

Not so long ago, but luckily in my old cooker which you may remember I HATED , I had a baked potato explode!!

It made one heck of a mess and I don't know why it did it because I always prick the skin??

All that was left intact was a lovely crispy skin and the potato was everywhere.

I remember thinking that if that had happened when I took it out of the oven I would have ended up very badly burned.

My daughter in law recently told me that she never pricked the skin, just put them in as they were and I gave her a VERY stern warning about it !

We've got a toaster at work that boils and poaches eggs

I could touch type once upon a time, now I only have one finger I can use comfortably on my right hand.

When I worked for the bank I used to get bored and would try and help the typists out ...not a good idea trying to be an audio typist when I could'nt spell.

I use Google Chrome as my usual browser. It has an automatic spell checker built in. It is very good at remembering that old rhyme, now how does it go Gin?

"I" before "E" except after "C"

Remember, freinds in reciept of benefit can be feindishly clever ;-)

Seriously it is a boon. Type something incorrectly and it puts a red line under the word. Right click the word and the correct spelling of the word appears. Left click on the word shown and the incorrect word is instantly replaced.

P.S. I have just doubled my typing speed. I now use 2 fingers.
