Veg soup I hope Dea?

Dea

Dea Report 29 Aug 2011 21:15

It most certainly is Ginns!

And, I have to say - most of my Veg soup is Ham based, BUT, thinking of you, this one is NOT !!

PURE vegetables - mostly home grown! - Carrotts, brocolli, onions, tomatoes + 'bought ' potatoes, herbs, pepper and cream !!

Good morning all,

Hope that you have had a good day. Had rough night with small daughter who has picked up yet another cold..then decided to have a bounce on the bed and bounced straight off onto a torch and bruised her face...and then wouldn't get up this morning, didn't want to have breakfast, didn't want to get dressed, didn't want her hair brushed...!!!!!!!

Am stuffed and it is only Tuesday!

Morning Gracie

Still no Sylvia yet ----

Seems to me your daughter is perfectly normal !!!

you would be worried if she did not do all those things

I nearly killed my Mum --- hiding in a wardrobe -- and jumping out yelling surprise -- just as she was leaning over "throwing over" the blanket on her double bed -- she collapsed on the bed clutching her chest !!!

I was off school ill --- was sent back next day !

Hi all
xxx

met and talked to a nurse, got information, and a HUGE package of stuff. The package included the 4th edition of one of the best books written on breast cancer ................. co-authored by my surgeon. We had to buy our own copy of the 1st edition in 1995!

Then had an interview with an anaesthetist, and he determined which of my prescription "drugs" I have to take on the morning of the op, even thoguh I am not to eat anything after midnight! I will have to take the very smallest sip of water needed to swallow said drugs!

Had coffee

Got a taxi, and came home

Thanks for waiting for me. Seeing the light was very welcoming

Gracie

you ain't seen nothin' yet!!

My daughter fell UPSTAIRS coming up from the basement, banged her elbow on the one concrete step there.

I had one screaming 6 or 7 year old hugging her arm, which she said she couldn't move

about 8 pm on a November evening

OH was away. I don't drive, so had to get a taxi down to the Children's Hospital.

She eventually started getting feeling back in the arm, just as they called us in for x-ray ............. about 90 minutes after we arrived at Emergency

We were on our way home by about 10:30 pm

That will be Fans that left the light on for you Sylvia...

I was going to put my doormat on the step but then remembered that was the one I fell off and broke my foot.... didn't want any broken bums.

Dea's hot water bottles were a godsend and I put down a sheepskin mattress cover and wrapped cuddlys around our legs... Gins looked rather exposed so we needed to keep her warm..

Renes made a paella and that was scrummy.

I think you just did the easy part Sylvia... was a lot harder for us on the step waiting.

That was nice of them to give you the book this time... it sounded like it all went well.

Will go and look at that thread and then help himself out the back and then will be back later. Do you want me to do brekkie Sylvia or will you do it?

Pxx

Cyns sang a few songs ... so we all fell asleep.

Persephone

Persephone Report 30 Aug 2011 04:31

We went to the dock yard at Potsmouth and went on the Victory.

He was fascinated.

Renes thought you would be interested in William Gillett age 24 on crew list at Trafalgar.
