Went to see the surgeon this morning ... only had to wait 15 minutes past the appointment time :-)

She went throught he apth report ................ everyhting is clear, although I did apparently have pre-cancerous and "atypical cells" of lobular cancer spread throughout the tissue

so da*n good job it was found so early.

I have been referred automatically to the Cancer Agency to see a radiation specialist ......... but the surgeon sees no need for me to have any further treatment. But the radiation guy makes the final decision ......... and she said he is a very practical guy.

so it looks like I won't have to have any radiation ....... we'll know more next Monday.

SylviaInCanada Report 31 Oct 2011 21:03

I had an email this morning:-

Hello Dear Friend,

We did not know each other but this may bring us together. I got your contact from International business directory.Believe me I don’t really know how to start, somehow am shy to say this about myself facing a case of marriage dissolution. My name is Amanda Shelly George, I’m 31 years of age; I am from West Midlands, United Kingdom. I have been married actually, but my husband had just filed for dissolution of our marriage.

Right now as I'm writing to you the divorce suit is pending in court here in United Kingdom, apparently if he succeeds it means he will be entitled to half of my money and property I inherited from my late father. Because I know that was the reason why he filed for divorce paper, my God knows I love him so much, but due to that i hate his promiscuous life he decided that we divorce. Though I have invested most of my father’s property on him in order to make him happy, yet all was in vain. Right now I have (£5.5 million pounds sterling) fixed deposited in the Bank. I have contacted you to assist me in transferring this money to your nominated foreign bank account before the court decides the divorce case. I can't let it happen because nobody will take care of my 2 kids.

Please if you will be of help on this transfer, I will never forget you. And I know if I have not offended you, if this proposition offends your moral values, please do accept my apology as i look forward to hearing from you soon. In the next mail I will be sending some of my nice pictures to you for identification.
With best regards,

Amanda Shelly George.

well, it's different :-D

OOOhh - posts crossed.

It is also good news that Amanda wants to put her millions into your bank account ;-) ;-) ;-)

Do you know, some people actually fall for these scams :-0

I wonder where she lives - it can't be that far away from me so perhaps I could help her out? :-D

I heard an interesting interview on the radio today with a man who has for many years built up conversations with these 'scam' people by e-mail and has now published a couple of books made up of thse e-mails which are quite funny to read.

He feels that all the time they have spent in fruitless conversation with him would otherwise have been spent in bothering many more people.

Interesting......... mmmm ///

You could open another hot mail account and reply to Amanda...

say hi and that you are living with her husband... etc. and that the pair of you would be happy living off the proceeds.

Sheesh... when will these stop.. bit like these computer scams and then we see on our consumer program where people have fallen for them. My OH asks them when they ring whether their mother knows they tell lies for a living.. one threatened to come around to our place and cut OH up like a chicken..

I hadn't had one for ages and then I got one from a bank asking for my details as something was wrong and I would need to key in my pin number etc..A) It was with a bank that I don't use and B) I don't bank on-line.

P xx who is never going to NIgeria.

Dea Report 1 Nov 2011 19:21

And so you should be Ginns - I cooked that 'special' just for you and I ended up eating it myself !!! - As well as my bacon buttie !!! - I have to tell you that is was a struggle ;-)

Fans - does that mean he is coming back to you again for another whole week ???

You are a Martyr !!! - I love my grandchildren to bits but they really wear me out and I DO have to be careful how often I have them. - You seem to be becoming a second mother to your little one! - Be careful that you don't take on too much!

Mr Hurricane is just what he is,a ball of hyperactive energy, and he, his mum and dad and 3 sisters live in a squatty 3 bed house with hardly any garden and fast cars out front .

I had one of those type boys so know what hard work Hurricanes can be and still is even at 25 years old.

I do not want him growing up and ending up hanging round on street corners so its best if he comes here often for some one to one direction and outside freedom in life...Put that not too well but I knows what I mean...:)

Byeeeeeeee..~~~~~~~~
He is of the nature that is easily led as well so if I can help then I will...

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 1 Nov 2011 19:50

PS
If he remains here for any length of time I will get him into the local school by hook or by crook....Then at least we will have some time off.... :-D

Dea

Dea Report 1 Nov 2011 20:01

I know exactly what you mean Fanns - my grandson is just the same !!!

They are lucky - they now have a bit of space - they have built an extension and have a bit of garden, in a quiet area, though they don't have the money to make it really 'nice' yet and finish it off.

He is very lucky to have you to care so much and to help point him in the right direction.

It IS hard work though, so take care !!! We are not getting any younger and need to be around for a good few years yet to see them through!
