Porridge with chopped up dates, bananas, and maple syrup (other fruit selections over there >>>> )

Selection of cold cereals

French (eggy) toast, maple syrup, Golden syrup


Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis, gluten free),
Danish
sourdough rolls
brie, onion and red pepper focaccia


bacon & cheese quiche
cheese and onion tarts
asiago and tomato pie,


stirfry (chicken, beef, or vegetarian),
Chicken Karage (Japanese deep fried chicken pieces)
Country Wrap (Black Forest Ham, Fresh Scallions and Cheddar Cheese),
Veggie Wrap (Fresh Tomatoes, Basil, Roasted Peppers and Feta Cheese)
Potato, dill and cheddar soup
chili con carne with garlic bread


blueberry gingered lemon muffins
apple pecan muffins
raisin bran muffins
morning glory muffins

jams, jellies


Tea, coffee, juices


(some bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, olive oil, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)

I think I will have a change today - I will start with that delicious Potato, dill and cheddar soup and will follow it with some chili con carne with garlic bread - Now, tha's what I call a breakfast !!

If all babies slept like my lot did I think we would start on the extinction trail of homo sapiens...Cry all day and half the night the eldest did...Timed it once..He slept 2 hours at a time till he was FIVE..

The other 2 were not much better.

Both mine slept from 7 weeks on, without a sound......all night

I've always thought that phrase "sleep like a baby" to be rather, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr .......................... erroneous! :-D

I've been rather naughty on another site ........... its a private site, only about 6 or 7 regular posters


and I very often post without any kind of acknowledgement from any of the others ................... they are all in either UK or Europe, so I often do only post in the very late evening or when they are asleep.


so, I decided to see how long it would take before they noticed I hadn't been posting


last posted Jan 19

today a thread "Where's Sylvia?"


plus an email from another person that they know I know ................... but have rarely had contact with for months!
