	OH has been told they have removed all of the cancer. He has an appointment in 2 weeks to discuss chemo just in case. I am at the hospital tomorrow as a routine glaucoma monitoring.

	A friend of my husbands seems to have had a 'lucky escape' recently. He had pneumonia a while ago and was quite poorly - they of course, x-rayed his lungs but they were not happy with the resukts so they sent him for an MRI scan. When they looked at the scan, the lungs were O.K. but the doctor saw something in his kidney which did not look good so they recommended he see a kidney Specialist. It was found that he had a cancer tumour. It was only small but obviously it would get bigger so he has just been in to have the kidney removed. If he had not have had the pneumonia he would not have had the scan and the cancer would not have been noticed until it started to cause problems. He was very lucky. Dea Xxx

	LK great news fingers crossed he doesn't need chemo. My OH's hair is now back he's updated his style - gets one of the boys to give him a No 2 cut and has grown a goatee and moustache people he has known for years dont recognise him! He goes for a scan on Thur and is waiting for date for a colonoscopy so fingers crossed results are good. Dea - its a true saying every cloud has a silver lining my OH's cancer was found because he went to Doc with what he thought was a strained muscle in his side which when the doc examined him he found the tumour which was the size of a grapefruit and which he could have had for up to 5 years without any symptoms. one more day babysitting GD then off till next week :-D

	Hi Linda - hope the scan goes well for OH on Thursday !! One more day of babysitting eh ?? - I am sure you will be in bed VERY early on Wednesday night ;-) :-D - I love my grandchildren dearly but they do wear me out, especially the 3 year old - I am always ready for bed by the time we get back from taking them home :-) I think I must be 'getting old' :-( Dea Xxx

	Wonderful news LK..... <3 Hoping all goes well with your OH Linda.. <3 My OH has an assessment on Friday to see if there is anything which can help him in the house and then, today, we get an appointment for the Neuro-physiotherapy team. They come to the house for the first appointment. The thing is, since the new meds, he has been a lot better but, when the effect wears off, he is back to being very slow etc.........Anyway, I'm sure the professionals will know all about the condition. What a lot we are with our OH's.......... :-S

	Dea - I know Im getting old :-( Cynthia - Hope Friday goes ok and your OH gains some help from the assessment I haven't done any work on my FT since about 2010 due to "life" getting in the way just been checking through my records and found that I forgot to update someone who was very helpful to me the thing is I have sent a long PM to one lady and want to copy it to send to this other person but when I go to the message and right click dont get the option to copy and paste anyone got any idea or do I have to just retype the info :-( I have noticed on the trying to find post that there are a lot of old posts and also people posting and not coming back (pot kettle etc) :-)

	Try control + C to copy and then control and V to paste. I have been having the same trouble on this site recently !! Dea x

	When I had shops it was the "Kerching" of my cash register. Nowadays it the "Glug Glug" sound made when port or Sloe Gin is being poured. "Glug Glug" indicates that there is still plenty left in the bottle. ;-)
	Researching: Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.
