Have been chatting to my 2nd cousin on the dark side and she is incensed!! She lives in Canada and it seems that Marmite is to be banned from that country because it contains too many vitamins...or some such daft nonsense. I mean, someone really needs to get a proper job!!! Funnily enough though, it seems as though it isn't that well known over there!!!!!

I went into the kitchen and took a picture of the jar in my cupboard and sent the picture to her!! She thought it was hilarious!

I understand that it's not just Marmite that's been banned here in Canada. It's also Ovaltine. Lucozade and many other things. I'm thinking it's time I moved back to the country of my birth!

Yes Cynthia I think it did win some awards was good but felt they could have ended it better.

I am not a fan of Marmite but has the world gone mad?? Too many vitamins :-S

I saw the Marmite photo but it was out shone by the glint from your cupboard shelves!

So......... Porridge is now on and bubbling.

Poached eggs, scrambled eggs - both just about ready and the bacon, sausages mushrooms, tomatoes and fried bread are just finishing off......

Plenty of fresh fruits, yoghurts, croissants and danish pastries are set out...
