There is BIG thungerbolts and lightening and ICE falling down from the sky - It is PITCH black here and I don';t like it.

Think I had better go off line before my computer explodes. !!

Oh well - I am back - the excitement is all over !!!

It went away as quickly as it came but that was really S..C..A..R..E..Y !!!!!

There is ice on the outside of the windows on the sills and about 5 - 6 inches up the glass !

It is still very black out there but quiet now !!

We had that storm too Dea...........amazing :-D

It is now back to day light but pretty windy

It has just taken me over an hour to renew my Norton anti virus :-(

Have complained while online with them ridiculous.

Please keep that storm I don't want it ;-)

I didn't want it either Linds !!!

Talking about 'didn't want it' !! - That is how I feel about 'Norton' !!

I had it years ago but it messed up all the websites and caused me no end of bother !!

I now have MGV or MVG - whichever !! BUT far more efficient and much cheaper !!

Yes Ginns - It was 'eerily silent' and still for about 2 hours after the storm but now the wind has got up again and is quite violent !!

I will have to look it up Linds but will send it in the next couple of days.

I seem to remember that it was £30 something for two years and I have had it for many years now and it has never let me down.

Also it doesn't conflict with anything !! :-)

Hmmmm. Looks as though I had better put the kettle on, fry some bacon and eggs and warm up some croissants.

Some eggy bread for Gins.

Lots of toast and tomatoes and mushrooms are under the grill.



Now I must get myself organised to face the morning - it looks very wet and windy outside..... :-(

It has just about stopped raining here and the wind has been howling all night but that has stopped too :-) It is really quiet out there :-0 :-S

Yes it 'was' a heck of a storm Mo !

It only lasted about 10 minutes but was really violent!

I love storms too usually and I like to watch the lightening but this one was really strange. We must have been right in the middle of it as the thunder was coming at the same time as the lightening and it was all around us :-0 It was black everywhere as if it was the middle of the night and the wind was howling all around.

I don't know how true it is but I was always told that if you count the seconds after the thunder and before the lightening that will tell you how far away the storm is ?? i.e. 2 seconds means it is 2 miles away etc

This one was all at once and the strangest thing was the ice coming down in buckets - It wasn't snow, or sleet or hail it was sort of a slushy ice and it stuck to the windows and everything.

Then, it all went ! :-S

I can't see any damage nearby and we certainly don't have any but I am sure that all that lightening must have struck something.

It was pretty bad rain here earlier but is now quite pleasant

Sheffield United drew 1-1 with Fulham this afternoon. Good result as it means we will have a rematch their ground...........

And all with 10 men Jonesey :-D
