JB is still not well but is much better

I found something he could eat...............Marmite on wholemeal toast :-)

He's had 4 slices, the most he's eaten in 6 days

The wind has calmed down, thank goodness. Looks really bad down south :-(

Kettle is on, crumpets, toasted teacakes and some cheese toasties almost ready

Lots of butter, marmite and peanut butter too :-D

I think I will try a bit of marmite on those lovely cheese toasties then I am going to have a toasted teacake, oozing with butter. ;-) :-D :-D

Good morning and thank you Gins.....yes, the Marmite was delicious :-D


It's is very quiet, dry and sunny here this morning......it's almost uncanny. I have to say though, that we have been virtually unaffected by the storms compared to those poor folk down South. :-(


It is bin collection day, and it's interesting to see how few people have actually put their bins out - for fear of them blowing over. We haven't bothered for the same reason and they aren't anywhere near full anyway.

I opened the blinds to find that we have a couple of roof tiles smashed onto the ground and yes Gins.....before you say it....you always knew I was a slate loose!! :-D


Charity shop drop off and then some food shopping today and then back to continue with the Year Book for you-know-where.

Quick browse and I am off....~~~

Gins poor JB hope he feels better soon.

I would be ill if I ate that stuff YUK!! ;-)

High winds last night and rain but calmed down now and no damage to property as far as I can see.

The patient has had another lumbar puncture and is finally having an MRI today so hopefully the family will know more by tonight.

Todays plan is food shopping then housework oh the joys :-)

Let's hope the news is good then Linds.

Good news the patient is getting home tomorrow :-)

MRI scan was clear and the other symptoms are improving so can have follow up appointments to find the cause.

Good news for all concerned.

Cold and drizzly here no chance of getting a washing dry here :-(
