So glad things are looking better Linds and hope it works out okay.

Hi BananaNana.

Bye BananaNana ~~~~~ :-)

Off to the hairdressers and I will be so relieved to get my hair sorted. My mum would have said that I look like 'the wild man from Borneo'. No idea why, but it was just a saying we had... :-S

See you later.....be good.......~~

Happy Valentines Day greetings to all my special ladies.<3 <3 <3

It's St Valentines Day.

Don't be surprised if you see a little naked guy with a bow and arrow running around your neighbourhood.

My weird Uncle Henry has absconded again. :-D

Gee Report 14 Feb 2014 16:45

Jonesey my dear dear man..........please do not blame your weird 'uncle'

I got a beautiful card and a big box of my favourite shortbread :-D Not a fan of choccys, only the ones Linds supplies

What a day....could have strangled the lead lecturer after passing my great idea off as his own in the team meeting :-|

I put the matter straight.....subtly too, he wasn't getting away with that

Also, my request for feedback on lecturer performance had not been passed on to the powers that be - lead lecturer again, it was his job to pass this request on

Get a feeling he doesn't like me much!

Ginns - I have a wonderful 'quick' recipe for your favourite shortbread - You cannot better it with 'bought stuff' - it is gorgeous !!!

Let me know if you want me to share.

I made a LOAD at christmas and we are just finishing off the last couple of fingers.

Dea

Dea Report 14 Feb 2014 18:21

I will pm it to you in the morning Linds although it seems strange to be sending a shortbread recipe to someone in Scotland (the home of shortbread) !! However, It IS delicious so I will send it to you and await your expert comments !!

Good morning all :-D

My word, it's very wet and windy here this morning....no washing going out, that's for sure :-(

Bacon and mushroom barm cakes(s) for our Dea and some eggy bread for Gins.....will that keep the proverbial wolf from the door for a while?? :-D

Dea........don't going dropping mushrooms all over the place again - you know Gins can't see them and they get stuck in the carpet ;-)

Quick browse round and off I go.........I know not where.....except to the shops!!

Dea

Dea Report 15 Feb 2014 08:49

Good morning Cynthia - I was just going to make a start on brekkie but you beat me to it ;-) Thank you <3 <3

I will be VERY careful with the mushrooms 'coz I don't want to leave a mess but really it was your fault last time because you did those lovely little round slippery ones and they always shoot out the side of the sandwich when you bite into it ;-) :-D :-D These sliced ones are much easier to handle in a sandwich so I shouldn't have any trouble today :-D :-D :-D

Delicious.................................. <3

See you all later,

Dea Xxx

Same sort of weather here too, dark and wet but no s#ow :-)

Linda

Linda Report 15 Feb 2014 12:27

All the snow has gone :-D

Rain has stopped and it is bright and sunny still too damp to put a washing out.

Todays plans are one load of washing (done) quick tidy up and a look at FT paperwork :-D

Gee

Gee Report 15 Feb 2014 18:31

I never put washing out in the winter months.........it's too cold and unpredictable

It's not too cold here, bit windy and dry, at the moment!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 15 Feb 2014 22:05

Gins....that's when you should put your washing out....when it is dry and windy!! doh!
It certainly saves on the electricity used by the tumbler dryer....... :-S

Tis time for bed.......night all.....
