Good morning all :-)
Lovely breakfast Sylvs - I will have some of everything in the warmers please.
Delicious - thank you..... <3 <3 <3
Another very cold and frosty morning here :-(
My first instinct when you said about the way your new buyer wants to pay for the property was that I didn't think that it was a good idea as you would still 'have' the property to worry about but having read Jonesey's comments and read your further explanation of the way it works, perhaps it is not so bad after all.
Either way, you will need to give it some careful thought.
Hope it goes well for you,
Dea Xxx

Good morning all...... :-D
A bit chilly but bright up here in the NW so, maybe a 'hearty Canadian' breakfast is just the thing :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Thanks Sylvs.
We had a problem with the shower door yesterday - the plastic seal had come adrift and the door was loose.
On with the specs and off with the shoes - step into the bath clutching a nail file - a little bit of muscle power - hey presto....problem solved.... :-D :-D Felt quite pleased with meself!! ;-)
Dea, the corpse of that poor dead starling is still hanging from the roof gutter - I feel guilty every time I look at it :-(
Ah well.....off for a browse whilst the washing machine is purring away........ ~~~

Oh dear Cynths !
Can you not get someone from the council to come and remove it ?
Or, perhaps, if you have a window cleaner, his ladders might be long enough to reach up and do it ?
It's not nice to have to look up at it every day :-(

Oh I was so tired after having the girls yesterday I never made it on here.
They were fun but the house is upside down!
OH was going to take them to the park as f wouldn't go for a sleep in the travel cot.
I was going to tidy up! gets their coats, shoes, hats and gloves on looks out window and it is pouring down :-(
Off come the outdoor clothes. Rain stops eventually so put the little ones outdoor clothes on again and Oh takes her a walk in the buggy -big sister didn't want to go as she was playing games on my Nexus!
Less than 5 minutes later they are back yep rain back on the buggy had to sit in the hall overnight to dry.
So we try putting her in travel cot again! All she did was shout for her big sister :-D :-D
So we took them home and no she didn't go to sleep was full of energy!
We had them to let DIL get the new kitchen organised and clean up all the mess. It is lovely but we came home and ordered a takeaway :-D
Now I have to get the house back to normal.

Is the travel cot one of those low down fold up ones with mesh up the sides Linds? - almost looks like a play pen?
If so you have to be careful of them. :-0
We had one when grand-daughter was small and we used it a few times when she stayed overnight.
One night it was quite cold but not exactly freezing and she woke up in the middle of the night crying.
I went to see what was wrong and when I picked her up she was like a block of ice. I had to cuddle her up in my bed and snuggle around her until she warmed up.
I hadn't realised that as the matress was quite thin and fairly close to the ground the cold came up through and it also came through the mesh sides so she was freezing.
We put some pillows underneath the cot to stop the cold and a folded up blanket underneath the mattress and them wrapped blankets all the way around the sides to keep out the cold and an extra quilt on the top of her.
She was O.K. then for the rest of the night but we bought a proper cot before the next time she stayed. ;-) - It didn't cost very much and was in 'new' condition because we bought it from someone who only used it on occasional weekends for a little boy sho visited them sometimes.
In fact, we have recently re-sold it for just about the same price that we paid probably 8 years previously.

Yes Dea that's the one. But we had a towel on top of the mattress and she was all covered up and the heating was on so the room was just "cosy".
Not that it made any difference she was wide awake :-D
Just got text from DIL O is complaining about her ear again and her temp is 40.5 :-(
I have told her to call NHS 24 if she is worried and to phone the Dr on Monday and ask for a referral to the ENT .
I d**n well told them to take her back to the Dr to make sure it had cleared up :-S

Good morning all.......thank you for the teacakes and cheese toasties..... :-S :-D
Gins, I can vaguely remember the 'atmosphere' back in the sixties when the Cold War was at it's height. Not nice at all........Hopefully, sense will prevail.
Meat in slow cooker - veg all prepared, so off for a quick browse before going you-know where ;-)

Just got from the cinema after watching The Book Thief
Both JB and I had read the book a few years ago so wanted to see the film
Tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long, we were both yawning by the end of it!
I'd recommend waiting for it to show on TV, that way, you do the cleaning in between the 'laboured' parts!

Hi everyone,
Been at a baby shower today.
The future aunt of the baby did all the baking.
she decorated the cake with two babies one with a pink hat and one with a blue hat.
the edges were decorated with little hearts and all around the sides were little baby garments and footprints etc. then she had tiny little dummies scattered around the cake board.
It was brilliant :-D
came home cooked dinner son and partner were going back to hers and guess what Star (dog) jumped up on my knee and refused to go with them :-D
She always goes with them the minute son says "are we going to F" it was so funny!
Hopefully a quiet day tomorrow then the girls on Tuesday and Wednesday

Now, the point is, do I have another Jammie Dodger or not??
