it was snowing when we woke this morning. :-(

Everywhere was white except for the roadway and sidewalks.


It has since switched between snow and rain ................. and every possible variant of the two .............. sometimes within a block!

we have received an offer on the cabin ........................ which is currently covered with at least 3' of snow.

The buyers put in the offer at the asking price on Wednesday ................... we have to accept it as it is "asking price", and had to do it by 8 pm today (Saturday)

so we signed the papers and sent them back to our realtor this morning.

They put in the bid "sight unseen" ...........

............... but are apparently visiting the property "today", with snow shoes in the car, so they can "walk" the 20 acres :-)

I heard from our realtor yesterday evening ............... the prospective buyers got in to the property yesterday, on their snow shoes ............... and more importantly, got out again :-)

Their agent says they are still interested, and are now going to apply get a mortgage.

Depending on their financial state, that may or may not be a sticking point.


Luckily, we don't get those "chains" that you used to get in the UK .......... do you still get them??????



well, the Olympics are over ....................... and Canada won the gold in the Men's ice hockey early this morning :-D

I did NOT get up to watch it ................ it was on out TV from about 4 am to 6 am :-)

Mortgage chains.......

We would be cash buyers, no chain, unless the guys behind us had to sell theirs.......and we had to sell ours!!!!!

TV can be rubbish in general Gins.......and it can depend what mood you're in too. Don't know what that says about me as I love murders!!!


I feel as though I haven't stopped all day.....roll on bedtime....it's a bit early yet though. :-(
