Good morning all!

Lovely breakfast Sylvia, I just LOVE those Turkey sausages !!!!!!!!!!

I expect our Renes will be glad of a nice big bowl of steaming hot porridge this morning, she is just not used to the cold.

Mind you, it is a good job she didn't come a couple of weeks ago - she would have sat and cried! We are now at about 10 degrees whereas then it was Minus 15 ish !!!) - To us now the weather is positively mild !

See you all later,

Nite nite Sylvia. Xxx

Night Sylvs. sleep tight. Thank you for the brekkie.

LK? You really shouldn't make people of Sylb's age jump you know - t'aint good for 'em.

slap.

Wondered where you were ja...x

Renes, hope you have a little woolly hat on too....need to keep those brain cells warm too you know! Have a wonderful time and keep us up to date!

Dea, with all the airport chaos of a few weeks ago, Renes may not have been able to travel............then she WOULD have cried and wouldn't we have known about it!!

That thread? The sooner it is deleted or ignored, the better. Far too much unpleasantness altogether. I have only ever used my real name on here so, if anyone would like to find me......feel free; but no one will want to......sob.

Er Gins? Wakey Wakey......rise and shine.

I spose it'll be quiet on here again today what with that Fans orf gallivanting.

yawn....stretch.......shower......

Totally agree with you Cynthia about 'that' thread !

Extremely unpleasant!

I agree too.
If someone chooses to ignore info posted for them then I will just move on to someone else.
It seems that there are some people on here though that are less interested in genealogy and more interested in retort.
I have every sympathy for the newby who does not how to get the most out of the system but there are those who insist on ignoring advice.
I would rather just choose to stop helping and walk away in that situation.
Futhur posting aggravates the situation.

I did change my board name once as there were too many Christines on here so it was too distinguish my identity rather than hide it. It took me a while to twig whenJC arrived on the scene although I had seen the similarity in style.

Still too quiet for you Sylvia?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 14 Jan 2011 14:15

Quiet LK? It's surreal! Where IS everyone?

Seems like the unpleasant thread has been removed - don't know who by and not really interested. Hope everyone has calmed down now. Need to get Janey back on here for some recipes.....especially what to do with chicken. My feeble brain goes even more feeble when I look at chicken breasts and wonder what on earth I can do with today.......argh. No cheese though - OH and daughter allergic. Typical.

It's very pleasant here today but there is a threat of a dreadful weekend.....something not to look forward too I guess.

Have had lunch out, doing my messaging and then my tidy one of my photo boxes out. It's got in a mess so needs a thorough going through. I have so many photos but I like to keep them in some sort of order so that I can just lay my hands on them when needed.

Right, upwards and onwards.......TTF here I come!

Aren't they just 'priceless ???

Little grandson is just turned two but he is a big strapping lad and weighs almost 2 1/2 stone!

I have difficulty with lifting him etc but my 6ft 4 strong husband also struggles at times.

They were both 'out and about' the other day and Liam wanted to go down the hill on his scooter but then husband had to carry Liam + scooter back up the hill to home.

He was 'struggling' a bit and Liam looked at him thoughtfully and said " Are you all right grandad ???

The answer should have been - "No Liam, you weigh a ton" but Grandad dutifully said - "Yes Liam" and struggled back home with him .

The other thing Liam suddenly said to me many weeks ago was "Mummy is really getting on my nerves !!" - I think he must have learned that 'in reverse' from her !!
