oh him!

Paul Bernardo

and she should have had the book thrown at her as well, instead of getting a deal for allegedly "telling all". She didn't "tell all"!

She's now free, had a child herself some years ago.

wonder if you'll ever see anything on last year's horrible case ................ Russell Williams

his behaviour escalated from stalking, to breaking in houses and stealing underwear, and eventually to murder.

He was a Colonel in the Canadian Air Force, and in charge of one of the main bases in Ontario.

There was some talk that his path might have crossed with Paul Bernardo back in the late 80s.

Happy Paddy's day to you too Gin.

Carrying on with something mentioned by JC a couple of days ago about people adding people/info to their family trees without verifying and applying what should be common sense.

Yesterday and this morning I have encountered 2 classic examples of where the desire to add a name has obviously been greater than the desire for accuracy.

A) The parents "Added" were aged 6 and 2 respectively when they produced the child.

B) Someone born in 1869 were shown to have died aged 21 in 1940. To add to the idiocy they have added a photograph of the 21 year old persons military gravestone which has inscribed upon it details of the deceased's regiment, service number, age and date of death. To further compound the felony in the persons profile they have listed an address for the deceased in the year (1941) after his death.

It does make one wonder.

ADD: Just taken another look at the tree containing B).

They show the father of the individual born in 1869. They show him to have been born in 1838 being killed in action in Flanders in 1917. I know that there were some extraordinary people who served during WW1 but I didn't realise that 79 year olds were called upon to serve in the Royal Horse Artillery.
