Tell me now .................

I am not 'into' cars............. Is an austin/Ostin/Aston/ Martin a REALLY 'posh' car???

My neighbour has had one parked on his drive and all the neighbours and passers-by are looking at it with envy??

He turned the engine on for them and it sounded really noisy to me - quite like mine really ??

Apparently James Bond had one ???

It looks like a 'car' to me !!

Am I missing something ???

Yes Dea..An Aston Martin is VERY Eeeekkkkspensive and posh....HIDs bro has a brand new one...We have seen it,but not been offered a ride in it any more than we have been offered a trip in their great big hand built Eeeekspensive Yacht that cost nearly 3 times our bungalow and is moored in Gibralter..!

The Aston Martin is about £150k or so...So more than our bungalow is worth as well..!

£150k for a car !!!!!!!!!!!

What a waste or money !!!

Mine is still going after 22 years and I LOVE it !! - It is probably worth less than £100 - I will say no more !!!

At the end of he day - a car is a car - it gets you from A to B !!

Hopefully you will not have to pay too much to maintain and insure it ???

BUT hey - that is for us 'normal ' people !!!

My ride in th Rolls Royce Silver Cloud would outweigh the Aston Martin on the drive across the road !!!

The one thing I can remember from that experience was that I could hear nothing - not from the engine and not from outside !! - REALLY strange but very silent !"!!

we had a roast every Sunday ................ but we always ate it cold. Mum cooked it after supper on Saturday evening.

Cutting cold meat makes it go further.


I didn't have a hot roast until I went to unviersity.


That is, apart from the roast chicken we always had on Christmas Day


One roast chicken would do Mum, Dad, me, brother, his wife and 3 of their children.
