Jax you should write an autobiography of your life so that you can leave it for future generations. I've ask relatives to talk into a dictaphone so we have a record of their voice, just talking about their lives or in my Mum's talking to me about when she was young. I'm hoping to put together a digital file which can be passed down the generations and hopefully be put on the latest technology before the old devices become obsolete and so last the test of time.

I am also passing copies to my siblings so their children can also keep passing it on. One of my brothers is quite interested and one of my nieces.

I have got to decide on a new oven now, even though mine i less than 12 months old (RUBBISH!!!) !!!!!

I never joined it so couldn't be banned. However a question was put on findmypast page as to whether or not lookups of 1911 was allowed in view of their terms and conditions being put in plain English.They said that it contravenes their terms and conditions and always has done so the answer was no.

Just a group on fb, called the 1911 Census Group, which I joined. Have never posted on it.


Interestingly, ja...x, ........ I tried to find it in Search, and it no longer shows up??? Does that mean she has removed the group, or has someone else removed it? If so, why?

" I am also in Canada, and also a direct descendant of the Williams tree. My grandfather, James Henry Williams was one of many children to George Williams and Maria Tilbury, he was born in 1891 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, and died in Ontario in 1963. I have figured out the Williams line back to a William Williams and Anne Richman ( Richmond) marriage in Shrewton, September 29, 1701, this Williams was born 1673 in Taunton, Somerset, while Ann came from Amesbury, and her line reaches before the Norman conquest. If you want to know more, just drop me a note, glad to assist."





so far as I know, I don't have any Williams in my tree!
