Thank you for your birthday wishes.
I have some nice things planned. First of all i have to go to S....bys and buy 40 odd cakes plus something gluten free for the lad that sits next to me.
Instrad of my usual chicken curry I'm going to have special curry which has got lots of different things in it. In the evening I'm going to a big band concert as performed by Exeter College. Something different but it should be good.
As for my age my middle name is "Pan" :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Tickets for the Olympics Shelly.

I was going to say Olympic tickets but you can't seel then on because the tickets will have your name on them and you'll have to prove that the tickets belong to you. That happended quite recently at something but i can't remember what.

but mine was for free LOL

i did have 4 cups but 1 got brock will have to see if thay are on ebay as well

Shelly you should get quite a good price for those badges. The cups should sell as well,wether you have three or four won't matter.

Pat we are all cyber friends on here, but if we saw each other in the outside world, would we all become friends,as we are on here. It does make you wonder doesn't it.

HELLO MADDIE just to make sure you know I'm not ignoring you, lol .

Records office was closed, Grrrrrrrrrrr, so I still have an 'invisible' grandfather.
Have found lots of info on different branch of his family tonight, so will need to check it all and then hopefully add to my tree. A lot of ancestors in Somerset and Devon apparently. Mmmm maybe thats why I like a drop of cider now and then.

Dermot what you say about offenders against children is only tooo true, sad to say from experience, not everyone is what they seem.

Mum is OK and only being observed now to stabilise her diabetes and other medication. Stopping some tablets she seems not to need Ie Co codamol(replaced by paracetamol) and Warfarin....................... not needed as only a slight risk of blood cotting any more than any other person her age. The CT scan showed no clot in her brain and only the expected damage of dementia from her age and their knowledge. So she may be back in the respite care by the weekend.
Dad is stable too. He has an ultrasound scan tomorrow to determine if he needs a procedure on his heart, he had a double heart bypass 2 yrs ago. This may be more complex so hopefully it won't be necessary. So he may be home by the weekend if not a longer stay for recovery.

It took us 5 hours to go to both hospitals and spend about an hour with them both !!! Traffic coming home was bad partly due to Ascot, forgot all about that.

I have lost nearly a kilo at the check with the diabetic nurse. Slight improvement.

I won't be around tomorrow as I am going out with hubby and 2 friends

The blood pressure monitor never took my blood pressure, so I rang the surgery who told me to use it manualy until I go to bed and then take it off, so I have, I took it every half hour through the day, every reading was quite low, irt must be just when I go to the nurse it goes up.

Mrs Stephen is feeling a bit better......I'm a good Nurse. She had SIX bed baths. Four rub downs. And everything else I could think of. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
