Green recycling so need to stay in until it's been collected, so we can bring the bags in before they blow away. Think they'd end up in Scotland today.

Had a lovely walk along the Kennett and Avon canal yesterday. Met up with my 2 brothers who had been on a fishing match, then we went to sit with a beer outside the pub there called the Row Barge.

Off to the gym later

I have things I need to do outside and the bad weather is stopping me. I could them in the rain but there would be no plesasure in that. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

I will say it really does make quite a difference when the house if newly decorated, didn't realise how much it needed it, has lightened the place up...LOL.

I've only seen that happen twice.......both were women ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

The first was a young lass who had taken ill in the mountains.

The second was my wife who had become seasick during a very rough trip on my yacht..

It was weird to see the Green Tinge on the skin :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Hi Everyone.

Well WE decided to have a meal at a very popular pub and wish I hadn't ..

I ordered Chilli Con Carne and it was YUK !! supposed to have had English beef, but it was just a paste of beef in no way did I see any lumps of beef .....

So up I went to the manager and told him it was muck ,how this well known pub had the cheek to produce this muck was disgraceful to say the least.
I demanded my money back.....of which was no problem as he could see I had a valid point when I asked him to find me the British Beef that was advertised on the menu.
Pete was embarrassed, but he never had Chilli ...I Did ..LOL

So I'm never going there ever again ......

Now Got that off of my chest .....come home and had cold chicken cheese
& pickle ! :-D :-D

Its been quite warm here ....and guess what ??????

I bought some Christmas cards .....LOL

Marilyn sorry your meal was awful as you say it puts you off going back. Many a restaurant has been boycotted by us after a bad experience. Reluctant to return after a bad meal or poor service.

Well I may be missing for a few days as Dad has been taken back into hospital today. A problem with blood test results. Possible malnutrition and something to do with the warfarin I'm guessing. Rita knows all about that.
Have to go to London with hubby before 7:00 in the morning so my sister can go to teach. Then home in the evening I hope.
We need some respite care now for Mum as she can't stay alone. The local family all work and I can't stay as they only have one bedroom.
Oh well we have to do what we can.

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok and keeping warm.
It took me about 20 minutes to get into this thread this morning, kept getting the error message. Had about 4/5 pages to read, what a busy lot you are.
Stephen hope you are feeling better now, leave the outside work until the weather improves a little, being out in this awful weather for any length of time wouldn't be good.

Breakfast??
Porridge [hot] or cereal.
Bacon, eggs, sausage, Hot rolls.
Tea or coffee.

Looks like winter has really set in, so take care, keep warm and stay safe.
