Morning All.
Bright and sunny this morning, with a few dark clouds edging its way along.
Yep, we will have to plan our Halloween Ride soon.
We wrecked London, so maybe somewhere else this year. :-D
I hear there are parts of Scotland that could do with our help. #runs away very fast#
Have a good day everyone...........................................

Why don't we attack that great carbunckle at the bottom of the Royal Mile...............It's called the Scottish Parliament.......what a bl88dy mess of a building. priced at £41 million........it cost TEN times that at £410 million.....and already major faults have started to show
TIME TO KNOCK IT DOWN :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P
And while we're at it we could destroy the disaster of the planned Tramway in Edinburgh.....they have screwed that up as well :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Morning everyone as we seem to be getting less on here I will not name people as I might make a mistake.so I will say everyone. My daughter emailed me a lovely photo of my Great Granddaughter Megan holding the torche for the olympics on the westminster bridge yesterday. I was busy yesterday and only had time to answer my emails, I had two lots of washing to do and then had to go shopping. As I get older time seem to go by in a flash where does it go ? I look forward to next weeks TV dramas and wishing my life away by doing that..it is going too quickly now.
have a good day everyone.
Love Rita

How foxy is your good friend? How many times would you invite him/her away on business trips?
Yes - things are a tad unusual today.

Marilyn......you eat drink and be merry......I'll watch your figure ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Red Wine ! If I had a drink of that I would be violently sick, even the smell of it makes me wretch.. Don't know why.....it's just been like that all the time. And yet I enjoy red grapes. :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S
I love a really good Malt Whisky, even then I only have a small glass and that happens very seldom. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

We must start planning our course of action soon. And assemble our tools of the trade.
Long Flowing Gowns - check Broomsticks - check Stink Bombs - check Rotten eggs and tomatoes - check Familiar [black cat] - check
Warts are optional. lol
As you know I have changed hours, so cannot get on here in the mornings, and have difficulty on getting on here at night.
Nevertheless, we need a map of North of the Border.
Stephen? Over to you.
Did you know that Big Ben is starting to lean? And by the by, Big Ben is the bell, not the tower.
See ya later.

Maddie,
Just remembered......the accuracy of the mechanism running the clock in the tower housing Big Ben is done using the addition or substraction of an old penny on the balance weight.
More useless information ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Hi Everyone Well Dad is still in Hospital, initially on an observation ward. His Dr says he is mal-norished and the blood tests showed a lack of clotting (too much warfarin maybe?) Today he was moved to the only available bed.... in the stroke ward. Well he is there overnight again. Mum was found a place for respite in a nursing home not too far away. She is OK I am told. Will try to get up to London soon. Depending on how long the care situation lasts..... hopefully until a care home can be found for them both.
Very tired and sleeping badly...... every bone in my body aches.
I'll keep in touch with a progress report
Linda XxX :-) <3

Morning it is strange coming in this way as you can miss the page before' s chat . Linda I am sorry to hear about your parents. it is true warfarin if given too much makes your blood run like water. I have had this twice and the hospital have phoned me and told me to leave my tablets off for one day sometimes two.it needs to clot so that should you cut yourself you will not lose alot of blood. I was told by the private nurse I see once a month. that they have another drug coming out which will stop all the problem we have with warfarin. in other words we will not need to check so often about the blood tests and we can eat food we can no longer eat when on Warfarin. they have not offered me it yet.? At the moment I am not having a good time sleep what is it ? I toss and turn all night long. I think I need to buy a new mattress. also having trouble with my fridge freezer. need a new one. even my vacumne cleaner is falling to pieces.. never mind. hope you all have a good day.
