Linda, I think the sooner your parents are in a good home - the better it'll be for all of you. They both need looking after, they obviously can't look after themselves any more. I hope it gets sorted soon.

defently got problems with lappy the creen is down so carnt use the laptopat im useing daughters pc that has no wiles and is very slow and has to be plug in to the bthub so will have to pop in when i can o and get this im now tiyping with no pc creen as the plug is in the wall has been taken out so son can use the micawaye can just emagen the spelling with tiyping in the dark

Linda you and your parents are in my thoughts, praying for a good outcome for you all.
It seems strange for us all, when our roles as children become the roles of parent, to our own parents. And it can be a very heartbreaking experience, having to make decisions for our elders, instead of the other way round.
It broke my heart when I had to get my Mum a care home, but she was a danger to herself and others around her.
She had always been my guiding light, and here was I, having to make decisions about how she was going to spend the rest of her life.
It hurt both of us at first, but she was cared for in the hours that I would not have been able to help her.
I do hope that they can sort Dad out as soon as possible, seeing him malnourished must have been a big shock to you, but stay strong love.

Good luck to all our friends who are having to go to the dentists today.

Checked all my gear for our trip to Scotland, nothing needs repairing, broomstick all primed, ready for the off so I am.

talk about doom and gloom the weather is turning that way. I tried to find someone on the interent to buy a new matress I usually go for Silent Night lol none near me all hard to get too.

I had a nice surpise yesterday my daughter phoned she said are you going to buy a new printer/copier ? I said yes even though mine is but 17 months old I paid nearly £100 for this Kodak and have had nothing but trouble with it.. it has out run its guarantee.and I have trouble with the usb plug it is lose. she said good I have brought you a new printer. will bring it over the first chance I get.

I had trouble with my keyboard as the lettering started to vanish
have you tried typing with 7 tabs with no lettering on ?
so I wrote to Microsoft and told them I had it just over a year. they were very nice and said it was their latest and should not have occured. they sent me a new keyboard and I returned my other one free post so they could examine it and see why that happened..
My son laughs at me when I write and complain. I said it is because I grew up where people expected things to be serviceable and last a few years not a few months.
I must admit they were really wonderful and give them a pat on the back for their service.

Off to London this afternoon to see my Dad, still in Hospital

Then going to see my family to go and see a nursing home for both parents. Hope it is as nice as it looks on the internet. Reasonable report last checks too.

I'm lucky in that Pete does all the maintenance and up dates on my Lappy,

Rita ....I'm quite good with money really, I do buy a lot in the sales , its just that I belong to the SKI club....Spending Kids Inheritance... I've always said they can have my house ,but not my money !!

I still spoil my boys I love them to death .........sometimes!! LOL ;-)

My family laugh at me Marilyn as when I buy something I say. " O well another bit of your inhertance has gone " they told me to use what little I have on my self and comforts.
But I still am careful what I buy. I suppose being as we were poor when I was young it stay with me not too waste money. in saying that I have brought a dvd of "Downton Abbey " first series. got it from Amazon. the s eries that is on now comes out 7th November so I have paid for that one as well. in advanced
I thought Microsoft treatment v to me was very good., they emailed me and wrote to me and the women was so helpful. I never thought they would change it. so I thought people should know, you dont have to shout about things you can go about thing in a nicer way.first.

I often complain if am am in a shop or restaurant and get bad service
you have to speak up for yourself these days..
I sent food back three times when I was in Germany, they didnt understand no one spoke English and it was a big Restaurant it was under cooked and I asked for it to be well cooked , it ran with blood..I managed to get them to understand evenutally after trying in hand movement and French.

Marilyn, I'll be changing my avatar later, in a bit of a rush at the moment because I've been sorting out all my census records and certs.

Linda, I hope you find a nice place for your parents, it'll make you feel so much better knowing that they're being well looked after. It'll be good for them to be able to relax and let other people take care of them instead of trying to do it themselves.

Eyes have stabilised just now.....the right one that has the damage is only going to get worse as time passes.....but I can live with that. Vision from that is just a blur. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
