Stephen I would love to see those Cats in Kilts with their bagpipes playing. ahout ten years ago my mother in law had a fire in her bungalow in Bervie it took her kitchen and part of the bathroom and smoke damage in both bedrooms. she was insuranced thank goodness..
The fire brigade found the cause was Mice in the kitchen unit had chewed through some wires.electric one at that. my s.f.il. phoned me to tell me and he said rushing through his speech and said Rita its mooses that caused the fire. but we are ok. you can image trying to understand a gaelic Scot. while he was speaking so fast.
my mother in law said once the wifies have their brolleys up. she meant wives. bless her.
Hope you get rid of your mice.quickly before any damage is done

George get stuck into that shed before it rains, it is getting really dark here. perhaps it will blow your way.

Just had a nice wedding photo of my Granddaughter and her husband they are holding up a heart with the wrods THANK YOU on it was in a card thaking people for going to the wedding and making it a wonderful day for them also for the gifts received .

marilyn i had to delet some people from my tree at the 1851 census you fant looks to be the right one i was following the right william and mary in all the census but had the rong 1851 census so thank you for puting me back on the right track

im still not to share thogh about the lucy one as place of birth is diffrent
will look some more befor i put that one on my tree.
and if i do ill ad a note to say im not 100% on her being the right lucy

Hello everyone.
Rita, yes the lights are on in Blackpool at the moment, they go off at the begining of November after the fifth I think it is.
Our bed and breakfast hotel, is just around the corner from the big Imperial Hotel on the sea front, so we are not affected by noise or the lights.
The view over the sea is wonderful and relaxing.
We are off out soon, to have a meal with the family, to celebrate my grandsons 18th birthday, then it will be a dash to darts following it.

Evening everyone,
I have to admit that I never made it back to work.
I was fine going up to Scotland but the journey back was very tiring. It's rubbish that holidays make me feel ill.
I woke up with a headache and there was no way that I could have sat at my desk. I felt shattered when I came back from the I.O.W!
Strangely enough the only time I don't feel ill coming back from a journey is when I come back from Portsmouth on a 315 coach!

evening all hope you all had a good day.? I like your new profiles. I will have to ask one of the kids when they come around to put some more on my computer. as I tried and I am complete rubbish.If it is there I might be able to change them now and again. but I do love my butterfly..

Stephen I was telling my son by email about your mice, and he said a few years back he went and got his garage hoover out to clean the garage bench ( it is alittle ball type one) and had trouble so opened it too see what was wrong ? only to find mice had been inside it and eaten all the bag up. he said he thinks they had nested in it.

In Norfolk I use to have field mice come into the extension it was bad when they harvested. so I had to make sure I closed the extension door. my dog a labradore use to chase them

I have been on my tree for a change....and found quite a bit ,so I'm very pleased with myself.

Its bloody freezing tonight, so I have put my electric blanky on ,and just as well as I am going to bed to watch telly.

Well I can tell everyone I have a lovely sunny bright morning lovely blue sky and it is quiet mild out.. in saying that . we have been told the weather will turn later this afternoon to rain. which we had early this morning about 5 oclock. Marilyn electric blanket ? did I hear right.? I went to bed with just a sheet and a light blanket on me it was so warm. I had the window wide open as well.
