Mo in Kent Report 10 Jun 2010 15:58

Rita, Have you heard anything yet, about your son in law. It's going to seem such a long day for you, sitting waiting to hear.
Marilyn and Shelly,I will not be able to watch BB tonight,as we are out again. So please keep me updated,or I will have to take a look at your thread Marilyn.
I have been busy painting all the woodwork,up the hall stairs and landing.
In readyness for when we paint the walls. Huh I say we, it will probably be me. I have got fed up off waiting for Roly to start it,that I decided this morning to do it myself. He was not a happy bunny, he says I am pressurising him,oh thats a laugh I dont know how long ago we bought the paint to do it. And the paint has sat in the shed gathering cobwebs.

HI All,

Rita .....At least you have heard some good news...Operation is over !!.
I'm sure he will be sleepy for a few days.....it would be better if he was, less pain that way.

Mo , you have to get a whip and train Roly a lot more, you can borrow mine if you want I only used it once today ..LOL
don't think I'll need it tomorrow, shower nearly ready. but I did say to Pete best to paint the bathroom first , that's when the whip came out ..LOL

Now I wont be here tonight either as I'm baby sitting , but I will be watching BB but not able to go on Lappy.
I saw a bit on the telly this afternoon and they were all dressed up in evening wear and all being hoisted in the air all sitting down at the table !! Then it went off air ..LOL

Hope you are all OK.

Cheer up Shelly ,not like you to be cant be bothered type.

Thank goodness you have heard how your S.I.L is Rita. I should imagine they will keep him under for a couple off days, and then wake him slowly,to
allow the body to readjust itself after such a big operation.
At least you can relax a little now, knowing he is in good hands. The Royal Marsden is a brilliant hospital, and they will take great care off him.

Marilyn,I wont say enjoy yourself tonight, ( even though I know you will ) dont forget it starts at 10.00 tonight,so the kids will hopefully be in bed, just in case there is any ripe language. LOL

I hope that Pauline is o.k,and that she is still able to be strong. Bless her it must be so hard on them all.

Not long now till Linda is back. I hope the weeds have not taken over her garden, what with all the rain we have had. She has worked so hard on it.

l emailed Pauline she sent me one and l replied think she knows at this sad time her sister is no longer suffering and that must be a relief to the family.but such a sad time for them all.

she has two grown up sons and a daughter as well as 7 Grandchildren

My Granddaughter starts Farnborough college soon she goes into the 6th form they . have their prom coming up so they have booked themselves a Stretch LImo £850 there are about 18 or 19 going. my son (her father ) told her he would have taken them in his landrover and only charged them £5 l said what did she say.
she said she wanted to go in style

What a sad day girls. Paulines loss is so great, but June is now at peace, and no longer in pain. The pain will stay a long time in their hearts,
but the good memories will stay with them for ever.
Our love and hearts go out to you Pauline.

His little bum needs nan to change him that's why he went near you ..LOL

Shelly whats Tatter in Jackets ? is that potatoes ?
Just curious......LOL

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 11 Jun 2010 19:07

Aw Shelly, theres no need to take little man in the garden to wipe his bum,
haven't you heard off baby wipes, theres no need to use dock leaves to clean his bot.
Marilyn dont tell me you dont know what tatters are. Tatters, spuds,or if you are posh potato's.
See Shelly,we can still blind her with Essex slang.

Dear All

Hello

Hope you are okay.

I have one eye on the TV with the football on.

There is a rota in our home to see who is manning the TV when each match is......3 matches in one day to watch is a bit much!

Take very gentle care of yourselves
Very best wishes
xx

My daughter said they had got him out of bed in a chair for an hour he is in a lot of pain but they have him on a morphne drip and paracetamol the doctors have said he must not be left alone he has a doctor with him all the time. he has surprised the doctors they said he had a major operation they said if he goes on the way he is they will put him nto a private ward on Monday orTuesday, he asked my daughter not let let the family see him, in the condition he is.but his sister Shelly said she is going to see him on Sunday she is his sister and there is not one else in the family on their side,.
l have arrange to meet my daughter in Town next Thursday to go with her to the hospital . My daughter said she will get a good nights sleep tonight she didnt sleep last night at all. she is worried how he will be tomorrow when she goes so we have our fingers crossed .

Love Rita

Mo in Kent Report 11 Jun 2010 22:36

Elizabeth, I am not a footie fan,and I think your family are lucky to have a mum who is very understanding,of their need to watch it.
I am fed up of it already, and we have as of yet not even played a game. A
lot of the adverts on the t.v,are also football related as well, ie for people to upgrade their tv to high definition,to get a better picture. WHY for goodness sake,if your picture is good in the first place, why should you need to upgrade. It's all such a hype for four weeks, and there will be some fools who get into debt to change their t.v sets.
But enjoy it love. I will wait for Wimbledon to start, thats more my type of sport, or the Darts at Lakeside. Funny person arn't I.

Well Marilyn + Shelly, whats your opinions off tonights escapades. I have to be honest,I feel sorry for poor Mario the Mole. BB has made it blatantly obvious that he is the mole. It would have been better,if they had given him his normal clothes, but still made him do the tasks.
I really thought he was going to get caught tonight, putting all that food in the pool.
And cor blimey cant that Steve snore for England. I thought Roly was bad enough, but he is far worse.
I think there could be fireworks brewing,as the bitchiness has started.
Posh boy is not used to sharing things, and Rachael (Beyonce wanna be)
is dead upset that she cant straighten her hair for a week. aw poor baby.

Rita, my god they got your s.i.l up early. The poor man will still be getting over such a major operation, why couldn't they just let him rest for a couple of days,to allow the body to recover.
Poor man must be so exhausted bless him.
Mind you all hospitals are like working at roots group,on the beds, ops done, and out the door. No recovery time allowed.

Mo and Shelly my late mother in Law was a scot and she used to use that word for POTATO'S (posh form ) she called them tattes.
My Husband born in Islington called them SPUDS.
Me being posh call them potato's. lol.

My son is coming this morning for a couple of hours he emailed me last night and said Mother put the kettle on for my Roise Lee. another one of my husbands sayings. l tried to make him posh but it did not work.

still you cannot have everything he was magic.

Susan put a thread up on the boards and it brought back happy memories l said to her it did and l also said there was another one called Brown Boots and she had that down this morning Stanley Hollway so if you want to have a luagh click onto that.
well time for some toast
see you later before l forget l looked at a little bit of football last night and those hooters drove me up the wall.puts you off watching.
