I have posted on J Jean's thread I think it was, feeling a bit down - so boring here with this dipstick and still don't know if the son will come from NY so might be lots of last minute pressure, basically feels like my summer has been hijacked by this wedding etc if that makes sense. It's all o.h. can think about. He sent an anniversary card to the son and wife in NY as it's almost a year since they got married, (Saturday) and he did another cd of old photos of the son etc. Today he called him and the son was a bit narky cos o.h. got the new d.i.l's spelling of her name wrong, he is useless at things like that, and he also spelled one step granddaughter's name wrong as well - I told him what I thought it was and to double check on their Christmas card which was a photo in a card/frame so always on show, but did he listen, did he heck? I was right, he got it wrong! Again !

Hope Rita has a good time with her sister, how lovely that they can spend time together as they do.

Oh poor Liz........you could with running away from all your trouble's ,I bet you cant wait until THAT wedding is over & done with , perhaps you can think of yourself after that for a change.Even a weekend away would do you ,Liz !!

Shelly I hated that job of getting a clean shirt every day for Pete, often he used to say , have you done my shirt ? then every so often I would do 4or 5 , but they were used up in no time !!

Not long got back from my sisters, had a lovely roast.

Knackered now ,just watched BB and seen to all my mail.

Off to bed.......just thinking of our Pauline for tomorrow. I hope she comes back soon.......she has been missed.

Well Marilyn,what did you think off Jon's outburst at the meal table.
In a way he was right in what he was saying,about what would happen outside off the house. And I liked his opinion that when they get out,they have still got a life to get back to,and it may not be all the stardom that some think it's going to be.
Rachel is still being a cry baby,and I still am not over keen on her.
But I like the way that Shabby holds her own in an argument,even though she can be a bit volatile.
Sunshine seems to have melted into the background,keeping herself quiet. Hoping to get under the radar I suppose.

I would love to go away for a few days and in fairness he said I could if I wanted to, but I don't trust him with my things as he would chuck stuff out, and also he doesn't remember to water my plants outside, I have lost two wonderful treasured hibiscus like the ones you see growing in the Canaries etc and also my camellia as he doesn't bother to water them.

Better go, he will be up in a mo

Nice day again, going in town with my sister today, just wandering around the sales.

But should be on the beach really, but you can get bored doing nothing.

Hope Pauline day is not too upsetting. awwhhh bless her.

I am feeling sorry for myself,I twisted my knee yesterday,being clever and trying to shut the wardrobe door with my leg. I am sitting here with my leg up,and it hurts like bu**ery. Roly rubbed some cream in for me,but it doesn't seem to be working.

Yes I am back. I have just taken my cousin to Heathrow T5 so she is now on her way back to Canada.
Sorry I have been missing, somehow didn't get back to the computer til today.
Had a great time in Yorkshire despite the weather. Wet Tuesday.... went to York and did the museums. Very wet Wednesday in the Yorkshire Dales.... shame so went to a creamery and tasted about a dozen different cheeses, yes bought some too. Had 2 days in Haworth.......... Bronte country, lovely. Went up to the Lake District on Saturday and it was beautiful.................. got new walking shoes so have to get back to a fitness program now.
Since coming back south, visited a family friend in Sutton Coldfield on the return trip. Had a day in the New Forest then yesterday in Winchester and Stockbridge.

So sad to read about June and hope today is not too difficult for Pauline. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Hope Rita has a great time with her sister.

Keep adding Marilyn, Mo, Shelly, Lady and Yvonne,good to see Liz and Elizabeth too.

I am seeing Sue on Sunday hopefully. I will try to get her to come back on and chat with us.

Have you heard from the happy couple yet. Are they enjoying married life.
