When I'm bleaching my bathroom tiles, I think of Gins.

When I'm cleaning round my cooker, I think of Dea.

Now, when I'm i***ing, I think of Fans.

I look at the A page on FB but it doesn't 'grab' me if you know what I mean. Have added the odd comment but not particularly bothered if people like them or not.

Haven't had a welcome.......and don't have any mates.......sob sob. Please don't rush with the tissues........it's not gonna keep me awake.....lol

weather was rotten today! It poured with rain, the temperature dropped, and there was even wet snow and hail.

PLUS we had thunder and lightening in the middle of the night!


We decided to take transit to the tax man ........ bus then our equivalent of the Tube. OH uses it regularly but I've never been on it.

It was great except

............ it was bloody pouring with rain, and we had to wait 15 minutes for the bus, with NO shelter


Tax man was OK ............ we handed over all our papers, he and his assistant will now try to make sense of it all (including over $40,000 (ca £15,000-20,000) that we want to claim for OH's teeth) .............. and then send it all in to the tax department in Ottawa.

We know we WILL get audited this year, because of that huge medical expense claim

but equally, OH shoudl get a big rebate!

one thing surprises me on the A page ...................... how basic a lot of the questions are, from people who seem to have been researching for a while.


There was one today (sorry, Thursday) from someone looking for a birth for "months" ........... she was looking for "John Thomas Smith" b.ca 1860/62, possibly somewhere in London but not sure (names etc changed), and couldn't find him anywhere

Several replies ........... none of them suggested that he might have been registered under only one forename



and I'm just about to also add that he might have been registered as Male Smith



there's not actually a lot of knowledge about other sites, even of familysearch!

bacon, sausage patties, turkey sausages, chef's potatoes, omelette, grilled tomatoes, fried bread


Buttermilk Dollar Pancakes, French toast, Maple syrup, Cherry Fruit Syrup


Toast, Danish, croissants, crumpets

Jams, jellies, Ginger marmalade, marmite, peanut butter, vegemite

Never mind, I am going to enjoy your wonderful breakfast whilst it's nice and quiet. Thank you - you've done a great job considering your tax probs AND getting wet through.


I've noticed the same thing about the A page - and I'm a novice compared to you lot! Someone (who shall remain nameless) was asking for a lookup on the 1881 census! Even I, with my minimal skills found it very quickly.


Hmmmm. checking clock.....Dea must be having a lie in and as for that Gins.....well, no knowing what she is up to! As long as she puts that ciggie out before coming inside............ ;))


My granddaughter is going with her friends to one of those places where you sit with your feet in a tank of water whilst little fish nibble you!! There's no accounting for taste in parties these days is there? lol These places seem to be all the rage at the moment. Give me a good foot massage any day.

This site keeps telling me no curly brackets etc are allowed and refusing to let me add the message I want to....I AM NOT USING THE OFFENSIVE BRACKETS..!
