Me thinks she ( Dally) is angling for someone to do it for her -- she posted same on FMP --- JC found the details for her for Jane Edwards and the mother
and I could not see the father and son together any where --she just has the marriage cert for Janes mother --- that was all that Just 5 more days to go nonsense a few week ago

Yep she has now Sylv

Just had a look at my emails and I had one of these hot match thingys which are normally rubbish.

One was matched with my grandmother and when I checked the person it is obviously one of my mums sisters. I knew she had some sort of tree before in her birth christian name but this time its in the name she has always been known as and its a new membership number 118***** so hope she dont ask to see my tree lol

Just checked to see what year of birth she had for her dad as all the family believed he was born 1900 and thats what she had on her old tree when he was actually born 1897...well she has'nt looked into it properly because she has put 1896 this time

had a lovely meal

both of us had venison ... but they gave me different veggies 'cos of the lactose problem

They gave me some lovely rye bread, non-lactose. I said how good it was ......... and later the maitre d' appeared with a brown carrier bag, in it was a whole loaf of the bread to take home!

That was very good service you had in that restaurant Sylvs!

I once went to a very small place in the back streets of Barcelona and had a beautiful 'home cooked' meal for just a couple of pounds, including a lovely bottle of wine.

I commented on this to the lady who cooked it and said how lovely it had been and how nice the wine was.

I asked if I could buy a bottle of the wine to take home for my husband who was back here in England (I was working away at the time).

She was SO pleased, she gave me a bottle of the wine, and a great big chorizo wrapped in foil to take back for him - at no charge !!

Such lovely people.

yes, it is a very nice place ....................... they score very high on "service" every time there is a survey done.

They also score very high on "food" as well!

It sounds as though that lady in Barcelona gave away more than she charged you!

I'll be going to bed soon, so have a good day!

She really did Sylvia !!!!!

I made many friends when I worked over there and I had lots of places to go and eat where they would cook things 'specially for me' which were not on the menu. -' Homes from home' as they say !

You have a nice sleep - I am off to cook my bacon buttie but will be back later for that lovely brunch.

Nite nite,

I need my dad to come round with his jet washer to do my patio soon, hope it does'nt break up the concrete.

Thanks Renes....So that means if my aunt asks to view my tree she may not know who I am unless she works it out. As it looks like she is a new member she maybe doing it seriously, although she has her grandfather born in cheltenham where it should be cottenham, so dont know where she is getting her info from.
