Once you have thrown them at the soil dont cover them with soil and do not disturb /dig or weed the area for sometime...The minute you disturb it they wont germinate..
Nobody goes along in the wild covering the fallen seeds with soil and also nobody digs or weeds round them...

These do look nice, just hope he can sell some.

Perhaps we ought to talk our landlord into getting a new one, I would'nt be surprised if the one we have is from one of these companys but about 10 years ago.

Our first kitchen was from MFI about 28 years ago and I think that was about £600...lot of money then. I know our bedroom cost a lot from magnets and although it was fitted we took it with us when we moved.

Wonder what the new owners thought when they saw we had not wallpapered behind the wardrobes...just a square in the middle of the wall

HIDs bro used to be on basic wage and commission...But he was so good at selling that he was making more than the manager so they cut his commission out and raised his salary....Talk about shooting yerself in the foot..!
Hope your HID is as good..

2 years ago the Over the road people sold up after a year here and when they moved out you could see that they had painted round every piece of furniture and picture..!The new people in called for people to go take a look before they redecorated..!

He is under the impression that he gets a pitance of a wage for 2 months plus commission then its just commission only after that. If he sells one a month that will do but they want them to do at least 2 a week...would be nice fingers crossed.

We were not that bad but it was expensive paper and it seemed a waste to wallpaper behind because we never expected to take them with us.

Hope he does well Ja....x !

I used to be in 'Sales' many years ago !!

It is hard!

My first job was selling 'telscopes' - dont ask !!

We got delivered to an estate in a van and had to go 'on the knock' i.e. door to door.

These things were made of 'polymethacrylic glass ' - I remember that from my training. !!

What they really were was a cheap plastic lens which went in front of your television and 'sort of' enhancd the image !

We demonstrated them and attached the wire hooks to the back of the TV - when they came off they left scratches...................

However, I really believed what they had told me and sold LOADS for LOADS of money !!!

The final night in my job I was REALLY popular - I didn't know it at the time but the Company had gone bust and the team leader, together with my 'husband to be' were hoping to sell off all the stock and pocket the money !! - I sold 3 BIG ones and brought them in a fortune !!!

Seriously though, I wish him very well !!

Dea Xxx

P.S. - I just remembered - they were sold at around £45 each at that time - cash in hand ! (in 1967) so a LOT of money !!

Boy, was I popular that night !!!

Thanks Dea he will give it a go has nothing to lose there is nothing else out there anyway.

He has spent all afternoon trying to sell me a kitchen and me being the akward customer...we hav'nt got to the price yet dinner needs cooking.

Cant say I have heard of these TV things but 1967 I was a bit young...£45 must have been at least 2 weeks wages back then

I saw one of those things at ST Fagans when I went there...It was in one of the row of cottages that they had done out from1800 to 1970 as you went along...It was enormous and took up nearly half the tiny little sitting room..!
