My dear OH has just spluttered over a glass of red wine........I have wiped the keyboard and my arms down but I am not too keen on red splotches on my cream rug..........sigh.........


My hairdresser used ebay all the time. She says it is like having a 3rd income between her and her OH.

She sold a pair of shoes for more than she paid for them apparently. All her unwanted clothes go on there as well as ornaments etc. They don't have any children so perhaps have a bit more time than most as there is quite a bit of trailing back and forth the Post Office.


It makes one think though......wish I could get to grips with it as we have stuff we can do without.

Well, came in from work all forlorn and dejected - application for early retirement rejected, apparently skills & experience too valuable - pah!

Anyhow, have just read that Focus listing on Ebay and can't stop laughing (might be a touch of hysteria). Still chortling and have got mascara all over.

Our brand new combination emmersion heater came from e-b-ay...over a hundred pounds less than anywhere else I could find...And delivered to my brothers in the excellent price...I have mucked up my paypal account on there(lost the password actewelly)so bro buys what I want and we pay him and collect when visiting family there in Somerset.
All our storage heaters ,some as new, came from there too...

Perhaps I should go and take a serious look then Fans.....

Do you think the doc is testing your reflexes when he shakes your hand? He must know something about MS surely? It's hardly a new condition. Mind you, thinking back, my mum hardly ever saw a doc cos there wasn't much they could do. Just make sure you get all the social care you need though.

No he is foreign Cyn european of somesort...he mumbled something about washing his hands, so he was not listening when I said No it hurt and thinks I am affraid of catching something I guess.

I am going to ask if I can change and make an excuse that I want a female doc, if not I am sure I can go somewhere else.

Oh and Cyn we dont want her on here, can you imagine how she would behave if she actually paid for something
