Gins

I will collect "proper wild flower" seeds for you all summer and you can scatter them -in September for next year -- but be warned - as Fans said they will over take your lawn and garden -- and probably all your neighbours

possibly all of the county !!!

Re the wedding - I will go down and have a look for 5 minutes just to see her 'frock'.

Do you remember that 'disaster' of a frock what Diana wore - More crumples than fabric............. bless!

And that about sums it up....a wedding to cheer the poor folk, who have no job, and their home is being repossesed

.....a wedding will be 'just the ticket'

Renes,

This is a new thread on a Palmer from Scotland ending up in Dorset - Is there any connection to 'your lot' ??

Dea

Thanks -- but it is not mine -- I have been helping a man with a couple of other Palmers that came down from Bonnie Scotland -- one was a doctor and he married one of my rellies -- ( the daughter of the German woman I wrote to Wiemar for copies of certs etc for her family )

I did have a photo of the rellie I was able to give him -- and gave him a contact of the German womans great grandson --by her second marriage -

but those Palmers married in ---

not genuine died in the wool Dorset Ag Labs Palmers

like wot mine are -- oo ah

I have to say, the most dramatic, and beautiful lightening storms are to be seen approaching Madrid from the north !!!

They have the news on the TV the next day saying how many times per second the lightening struck earth !!!!!!!!!!!! - SPECTACULAR !!!!!

My Grannys side from Dorset are paternal Turners 1652 Netherbury
and maternal Parsons 1700s Askerswell -- the various wives from same villages or very close by

My Grannie mother died young and all the children lived with their grandparents --- my Grannies eldest sister Evelyn lived with her Granny
( who was deaf) until the Granny dies aged 92

There was also one grandson living with them was not a brother of my Granny -- and I have been searching for his parents for sometime -- thinking it would eventually come out in the wash as I sorted them all out

Thought I would have a look on An¿¿stry for him this afternoon and found some twit has decided that he was his grandfathers "son" even

--- and to add insult to injury --my Grannies lovely deaf Grandmother who raised all her children and her deceased daughters has been given a different surname -- the wrong person !!!!

But the worst part of this story is

That when looking for the info on the missing grandson -- someone had written 2 notes against his name --saying this George is William known as George --

Oh I thought thats interesting -- I will send him a note ---which I did very polite and asking for details please

ONLY to discover later --- HE IS THE ONE WITH THE TREE !!!!

I hate Anc¿¿¿try -- I will never put my family on there -- private or not

At least here at Genes - my tree is private unless I say so and not all over the internet

Not Happy

DEDICATED OR WHAT ????

The 'big blobs' have just started to come down so 'hubby' has just run out and filled the fertiliser spreader - he is going quickly up and down the lawn as it has to be put down and 'rained in' !!

I am sure there are 'more things in life' !!!

I love him really though and our lawn does look good !!
