When my daughter finally had to tell her son that there was not Father Christmas ( he had said the boys at school has said it was cr¡¡p ) l ----he was shocked -- and said

"Pleeessase dont tell me there are no Easter Bunnies as well" and burst in to tears

Ohhh that is So sad Renes - I hope he has got over the disappointment now ?

I somehow don't think my grand-daughter will fall for the 'tying lemons on the tree' thing but thankfully, I had already prepared her for the fact that I didn't think it would actually produce any lemons growing in this Country!!

She will just be happy to see it growing and I am sure that all those beautiful colours that it will change to will keep her so. !!

Ginns - Hope you are pleased with your new dishwasher - I recently had to buy a new one, as you may remember !

I bought a Bosch and I LOVE it !!

It uses only 7 litres of water (half a sink full) and it does a load in about half an hour - SO quick !!

I was a bit disappointed at first because the dishes came out 'wet' but then I realised I could add 5 minutes extra drying time to the 29 minute cycle and that solved the problem, together with 'proper' rinse-aid (I had quickly gone to buy some but they only had their own brand in which was not very good).

Yes, - Thanks Toots - I seem to have missed that offer of easter eggs but I have seen it now so I will have the Thorntons please, AND the Lindt, and if there is any 'kitkat' left over, I could manage a tiny bit of that too!!!!

I nearly bought a Bosch but changed my mind at the last minute. I just want it to work and not to be loud so I chose it for the db

Old one was a baumatic and made noises like concord coming in to land....

Cant wait for it to come and I can clean behind it before new one goes in.

They wanted £20 to take the old one away.....errr I just leave it on the drive and the scrap men take it for nowt!

Perhaps they are baby 'Lemon Trees' Ginns ?? (tee hee) !

I took a couple of little chocolate chicks over to my grand children today.

I told them that they had to give them to daddy and he would give them a piece when they should have it !!

Grand-daughter was very good, however, grandson quietly went to retrieve his from the worktop. - He went into the hall and sat at the bottom of the stairs with his face to the wall and his back to anyone who might be looking.

He peeled of the foil at the top and , when confronted, he said he was 'just having a look', then minutes later he was 'just having a taste'.... One 'taste' led to another and I had to tell him to give it back to daddy for later !!

OOOOhhhh dont you just 'love'em' ???

My sister had a clear out of old clothes and left it outside for the bin men as most of it was covered in cat pee....they disapeared...lovely surprise for whoever took it
