It's funny in that last year so many climate 'experts' were predicting that we could not rely on rain, and we were not going to ger much more...ever since then it has rained, flooded, rained, flooded.

Now our Government is lobbying to add a carbon tax just to add to the cost of living...

I was without the internet for a couple of hours :-(

Did'nt know what to do so I played solitaire :-)

Just been on to ancestry and was looking at someones photos of my family clicked on one that happens to have my dad in and this is what it said

Huh its my grandparents aunt and dad and I cannot steal it although she has it plus another distant cousin has it also

I dont want it anyway as I would not put a photo of my living father on my tree....plus my dad has a copy (cannot understand why she would have one though) I just wanted a closer look because they are small pics.

Had I wanted it that would be a different matter as I am able to steal pics but not learnt how to put them on myself yet

I had one person who somehow had a copy of a picture of my mum as a baby ...who knows how her family ended up with it as she is a very very distant relative! :-)

we have all kinds of baby pictures in a drawer in the basement.

30 or 40 years ago everyone sent pictures of baby to all their friends and relatives!


Sad part is , many of the babies we can't identify because their parents didn't write on the back, the photos came in usually with the Christmas card ..... and we weren't bright enough to write on them ourselves!

Breakfast is ready


Tea, coffee, juices


Cold cereals:-
Corn Flakes, Triple Berry Oatmeal Crisp, AllBran, Maple Buckwheat Flakes, Acai Apple Granola

Hot cereal:-
Porridge, Bear Mush Hot Cereal, Instant Hot Oatmeal with Cranberry & Ginger


In the warmer:-

bacon, turkey sausages, potato pancakes, frittata, boiled eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, Maple baked beans, fried bread


Pancakes, Maple syrup, Blueberry Fruit Syrup, Peach Yoghurt


Toast, Danish, croissants, crumpets, cranberry & orange muffins

Jams, jellies, lemon marmalade, marmite, peanut butter

That was probably in teh days when people used to write letters as well! :-) :-) :-)

My mum has a whole stck of photos that we don't who is who either,....what a shame, sometimes they wrote who they were other times they didn't.

The hot breaksfasts sounds yum....! :-)
