I trained as a touch typist at school as part of the commerce option and was taught two spaces after a full stop. However, on my ipad and iphone one space after a full stop automatically gives me a capital letter, so I guess technology has dictated a change.

......... 3 of us worked on a thread last night, with not that much information provided.

but we each found a piece, each posted one post.

This morning, poster added a post asking for information on other names

I asked if she had any response to what had been found for her


This was the reply about an hour ago

Hi Grace been windy here today and my plastic tomato greenhouse took off squashing my tomato plants....think I will stop trying to grow things, well parants set it all up for me but getting HID to water them is difficult,

Sorry about your tomato plants Jax. I have no luck with herbs or vegies, I always forget to water them or do anything useful like that!

My brain hurts.

I have spent today trying to get some of my Essex ancestors onto the FTM

It is the group that all seem to have the same surnames because they interbreed and marry cousins etc and all live on one tiny street that is not big enough for that many families.So many have to be merged as they are on GR tree twice or even thrice.Add to that bigamy and a name that suffers from mistranscriptions.

OH decided not to grow tomatoes this year


we have the cabin that we go to, plus we are away for a large part of July


and we've never had much luck with people coming to water plants for us.


He HAS planted yellow potatoes, blue potatoes, broad beans (which I hate, but he loves), and leeks.

Plus sweet peas ..... which are planted in the veggie plot because he grows them for me to pick.


But, he rarely waters the garden or the veggie plot .......... the plants die or grow based on what ever falls from the sky!

What part of Essex LK ?

I have a lot of West Ham but other than that My gt gt grandmother was from Grays and when I was doing her husbands half brother his wife came from Grays too and after finding a couple of other trees with this couple in I could not match the wifes details...In the end found right spouse it was her sister.

Not going to tell the other two they have it wrong lol

I see... I was just going to play with my Hertfordshire lot...well they are on the borders of Essex Takeley and sawbridgeworth and around that area, just wish they had some unusual surnames to make it easier
