Find Ancestors

I wont go into details but I have been pm'ing someone today who posted on the living rellies board and was reported??? No personal deatails given this is what they got from GR

'it has come to our attention that you have added a message to the wrong message board, we have the Find Ancestors board for requests regarding deceased relatives. If you are looking for someone who may still be alive we have the Find Living relatives board, and we have two message boards for chatting -General chat and Genealogical chat' .......

So are they sending these to everyone? this post was removed within 24 hours...there is still one I reported showing her date of birth 6 days later

Definitely a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing ja...x. They really ought to be getting their act together by now. I have often thought that messages from GR read as though they have been written by the office junior who hasn't passed it on to be checked by a senior before it is sent out :-(



I am running out of clothes hangers........help.......

Only been home from two ticks and got the blue screen of death and a dead PC

So....pressed the reset button, unistalled that stupid Windows Service Pack and hey presto

....Im back to bother you lot again ;)

My computer died...well I got the internet explorer cannot display page message on everything last night.

Really annoying took a couple of hours before it would work again

ja...x - if that happens again, try clicking on F5 or, leave everything as it is and go to your start button and click on IE to start it up again. That happens to me quite regularly because of a signal prob in the area.

We did'nt have the service available I have been informed by HID the light was red on the router box thingy

When that happens to me Ja...x, I pull the power lead out of the back of the 'router box thingy' - leave it out for a few minutes and then plug it back in.

This usually works.

Just been watching the local news with MC coming home with the FA cup. The crowds are going wild and even older men can be seen jumping up and down as though they are on pogo sticks.............shakes head in bewilderment.

'Fraid not Cynths...........

I got hardly any sleep last night - some of my medications cause muscle cramps and I had them 'with a vengeance' all last night.

This morning, EVERY muscle in my body feels like it has been 'torn' - I can hardly walk and can't lift my arms very much so that's why I can't give her a 'slap' - It would hurt too much :D

It will pass though, thankfully - I just hope I get some sleep tonight.
