Actewally just watching how they clean Petworth House during the closed period. Fascinating. Well, I find it fascinating anyway.......

EDIT...they have a gizmo which measures how much dust has fallen during a certain period of time........all to protect the treasures of course.

Cynthia.............................

Even you cannot claim to clean your shower wotsit to perfection with an 'EMPTIED trigger action spray bottle' !!!!!!!!!!

Surely, there MUST have been something useful in it that you used before it became empty ??

Dea Xxx

P.S. - It is the tiles I am concerned about !

OOOhhh freshly ironed sheets - such luxury Cynths. !!

You have just reminded me about a funny thing which happened to me a few years ago when I was working with my tour groups across in Spain.

I got to my room in my lovely hotel in Burgos after a long day's travel and got into my jimmy jams which happened to be of a satin type material.

I was exhausted and flung myself into bed only to shoot across the lovely silk sheets they had given me and almost out of my bed on the other side.

Such a funny moment but unfortunately no-one there to share it with.

Let me know how you get on with that please Ja...x - I have been thinking that I need some sort of steam clean system.

I had a steam mop before but it did'nt have the attachments...I asked HID to look at the little video thing and he thought it looks good....but I have bought a few things on a whim late at night and wondered why?

This costs £106 inc postage so not sure...It's all down to HID using it when I ask really

Hi Dea!

lovely image of you shooting out of bed!

All I've ever done is get into a bed made with flannelette sheets, while wearing a flannelette nightie

One gets stuck when one does that!!

Right Dea. I put a splurge of bleach into an empty trigger spray bottle and fill it with water. Once a week spray down the tiles- leave for a while - then rinse off. No grey grouting to be seen anywhere!

Have wondered about those steam cleaners but they're a bit pricey.

My mind is now boggling with Dea shooting out of bed in satin jamas, Sylvs getting stuck 'twixt sheets and night and Janey falling over her pyjama bottoms! The fun some people have ;-)

I know, I know, people who can't even handle nightwear when left to our own devices.

Imagine a pyjama party ...

"Wipe it off", the waffle iron, Cynthia?

I think I took a pneumatic drill to it when it happened, to no avail.

No, I fear you will be waffleless. Everything else-less this month too, from this end, as I am out of everything and busily eating what's left in the freezer, while hoping that the House starts doing its thing and sending me work very soon ... 4:12 pm and so far nothing, this weekend ... I mean, dallying around here is all very well and good, but you people aren't paying me!
