Gins

I thought so, too!

Now, they have only one bathroom, toilet is in the same room (as is usual over here)

We find it gets quite hairy when we go to stay ............... we have 2 full bathrooms (both with bath and shower) for 2 of us. There we have 4 adults and 1 toddler sharing one.

They do have major plans for an addition ................... but not the money.

I have no idea whether they will put a whirlpool in the master bedroom en-suite if that addition comes to fruition ................. but I wouldn't be surprised!

Jax, yes that is our pool. Funny story really. We had lived in the same house for 20 years and whenever I broached the subject of moving to a new house my wife would say, "Only if its got a swimming pool". I had been away for a weekend with some of my friends and on the way back home I spotted a house for sale less than half a mile from where we lived. I knew that it had a swimming pool because my eldest son used to be friends with the son of the people that owned it.

Just as a joke really I got the details from the estate agent the following day and said to the wife, "Fancy moving house?". As expected I got the stock answer back to which I said "It has". Twenty minutes later we were looking around the property and the rest is history. We have been living here for 12 years now.

The instructions for our whirlpool said no bubblebath etc.... but OH used it and had such fun with as Dea says the foam engulfs you, I guess that is why I end up cleaning it as often as I do.

FBG,

"wont be visiting anytime soon" Cor thats a relief.

Hactually the pool is heated. The wife, nesh soul that she is keeps it at 92 degrees (Fahrenheit). It is normally used daily from the beginning of April until the end of October. Outside those dates although when in the pool everything would be fine getting out would cause ones best bits to shrivel before one managed to get into the house.

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 4 Jun 2011 23:12

One could of course have a small "changing room"built beside the steps?
Or better still a Large Conservatory over the whole shebang ???
Then ones "bits"would stay unshrivelled as one would not have to make a dash for the house Old Chap.....But at your time of life one would not have thought that was such a worry......

One is glad one does not have your Lecy bill Mr Jones ..

Ja...x
I am sure that Mr Jones has a high wall built to ensure complete isolation.. :-D

I meant my neighbours Fans

I have never known a couple to spend so much time in the garden all the year round

Washing on the line everyday even when there is snow on the ground...how can two people have that much washing?

I dont like sitting at my back door in my dressing gown waving to the neighbours :-D

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 4 Jun 2011 23:28

Funny that Ja...x cos I have neighbours that put washing on the line everyday...She told me she puts it in the washer ,sets the timer so it comes on for the cheap Lecy at night and then hangs it out every morning and like your there are only 2 of them in a squatty little 1 up 2 down cottage as well....Where DO they find all that washing???
No good for me to do that,my water is metered and the Lecy bills are bad enough without sky high water bills as well...So my washing goes on when I cant get anymore in the machine.... :-D

Oh...And HID often goes to get the post from the box on our front gate in his Jim Jams......I HATE him doing that but he wont stop cos he says its our front yard and if he wants to do that he can........

At least I put a long ankle length coat on first if I cant be bothered to dress before stepping out the door to let the dogs out... :-D

Is someone having a laugh or has Ginny's first post been reported for review again?

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 4 Jun 2011 23:37

Under review again Toots, you are correct...When did that happen....?

Surely GR will get fed up with it and give the person doing it an enforced holiday?

Ginny was given the green light to keep this thread only a few days ago...

Some people really have small spiteful minds and should learn to live and let live....

Im off to bed,but if this does disappear we shall just start again anyway..So pointless getting it whooshed really....

HID puts the rubbish out in his dressing gown but it is about 6 a.m not too many people about although it is a busy sort of road
