:-D Cyn

As not much going on here and also not being able to get on, was helping the young lad on FB although his last request was for birth look ups for 1930/40s I did mention freebmd and he had been told about it before....of course as it was on the fluffy bunnies page so a couple of people gave the info aghhh

Anyway I thought it was so sweet when he posted a message of thanks to everyone who had helped him in the last couple of days...he was only 13 and doing a family tree

well,

I am annoyed with GR

I renewed this afternoon. They sent the receipt to my home email

They've charged my credit card in US dollars

By the time the card company changes it to Canadian dollars ................... it will have cost me probably about 50% more than the £ sterling!

I've emailed theteam AND posted on Suggestions .............. following the line that it is a suggestion that someone subscribing to .co.uk not be charged in a foreign currency!

Good morning Sylvia, (and anyone else who is up and about),

Just cooking me a 'little' bacon buttie as I will be back for the rest later.

I am looking forward to those lovely crepes but I wish you wouldn't keep putting out those 'bacon bits' next to the chocolate sprinkles I keep seeing people sprinkling them over their fruit and whipped cream crepes !! (I know you do it on purpose - naughty Sylvia :-D :-D)

Hope you all have a lovely day.

See you all later,

Dea x

Nite nite Sylvia!

Night Sylvs. Sleep well. Thank you for the gourmet brunch...yums.

Morning Dea, have you left any bacon out?

Thanks for the reminder LK. :-D

A beautiful day here so some 'big' washing being done......like the one blanket which is in occasional use by OH and my electric blanket...fully washable. 2 flannelette sheets etc. We haven't got that much drying space so had better get cracking.

Morning all

Just dropping in for coffee, Cynthia has been rubbing off on me, washing on line, dusting and hoovering all done, just about to tackle the bathroom. I hate cleaning the bath, it takes so long. I'll never get a whirlpool again.

Cyns....you said half bleach half water, spray on and leave....then you tell Dea different?

Well, I did one part bleach and three parts water and we spray it on every time we have showered, so about three or four times a day

The mould has almost gone from the seals (grout is ok as I can scrub that) which was the big problem

First it turned orange and bit by bit it is fading and is disapearing fast

I love Cyns <3

BIG excitement here in our little corner of the village, cars in and out to the field next door all morning.....Him opposite has been spreading the news that his Welsh Cob has had a foal.....5 am this morning it seems..We think its a colt(boy)but as mum is being VERY protective we cant get that close to be certain yet...He looks just like his mum(Becca)though...

Off to our garage to clip out a couple of dogs now~~~~~~~~

FannyByGaslight Report 4 Jun 2011 13:08

You need to live in this little corner of West Wales then Jonesey....Happens every spring/summer round here, but not to him over the road...Last year I told him she wasnt in foal and that she was just fat,but he wouldnt believe me till at least 6 weeks after her due date....Im only a female, what would I know../

Its made his year for him now and I am hoping that with some entertainment and company for the mare at last she will spend less time hanging over our garden fence winding my dogs up..!

Cor, the excitement never ends for you does it Fans? New baby, new foal - before I know it, I'll be sending you a 'Congratulations on the arrival of your neighbour's new foal' card...................... :-D

Hey, Gins......steady on girl. I only gave you some advice about cleaning your shower. No need to go overboard ;-) I never need to scrub my tiles which is a blessing as the whole bathroom is tiled. I don't really measure the bleach, I just 'splurge' it in!!

No experience of whirlpool baths I'm afraid but I don't have much problem with my bath because we never have a bath - we only have showers. I still wipe it round every week though........just to keep on top of things ;-)
I do rather like Mr. Mus cle bathroom cleaner though and, the colour of the bottle matches my bathroom.......hahahaha

Just bought a new skirt and top with a birthday voucher and going for a wander round Sainsbury's shortly. Rarely go there so thought we would have a browse. Thrillsville.

Nice one Fans.

I feel like I have just done the London Marathon......only been to Sainsbury's.......but daughter is a slow shopper and I find that really wearing as I could be in and out of there in half the time.

You go and put your feet up Cynthia - sounds like you need it.

I was pleased to hear the other day that your 'poorly' friend is doing so well. I hope she can go back home soon and be able to cope with that.

By the way, I mixed up a VERY strong bleach solution as per your instructions but a bit stronger as I thought it was needed and let my husband loose in his shower room with it this morning.

He sprayed it on and went out to play golf! - I think he will be very pleased when he gets back home as it was in a dreadful state and now looks almost white and gleaming.

His shower room in is in our bedroom though and you can hardly breath in there with the bleach fumes but I am sure it will be O.K. when he rinses it all off.

I will let you know what he says when he returns.

Toots - you have to be SO careful with those whirlpool baths don't you?

One of the Hotels I used to stay in in Barcelona once gave me the Penthouse suite which had a Whirlpool bath - I settled in, added my 'Hotel Complimentary Bubble bath' and settled down.

I closed my eyes for a few moments and relaxed. When I opened them, there were bubbled over 2 feet high threatening to engulf me.

Such a scare! :-D
