Ginny,

My youngest daughter lives in Wellington but makes quite a few trips to Auckland... she is in marketing/website production and does presentations for the company she works for. This is where she stays when she is in Auckland... jammy beggar.

Quite often she goes to functions there as well when she stays more than one night.

Ohh Thanks Persie - I have decided too.................

I will start with the...
Vegetarian Breakfast:
Avocado, grilled tomato, red onion jam, Portobello mushroom and melted cheese on an English muffin or bagel.
(NO avocado please!!)

Followed by...
Traditional Langham Breakfast:
Two poached eggs on English muffins with grilled bacon, sausages, baked tomato, sautéed button mushrooms, toast with butter and preserves, Freshly brewed coffee, pot of tea or hot chocolate.

Toast (white bread please)

Then, I can't resist...
Black Pudding Croquette:
With homemade baked beans, chorizo sausages and a poached egg.
(Without the egg please - I don't think I will have room for another one

What a treat!!

Could you serve it in about an hour though as I will have to have my bath and find something suitable to wear first.

I will return>>>>>>>>>>

Hi Grace,

I hate cleaning ovens too but this one is quite new so I can keep it under control :-D

Also, It cooks by 'circo-therm' which means that it cooks at a lower temperature (same length of time but by a different method) so the food does not spit and splash all over the oven. - All except the base has special liners on it which just stay clean !!!

If there are any marks or crumbs etc., I just wait till it cools a little then wipe them off with a damp cloth after every use.

Easy, peasy.............. I just LOVE this one - It's 'magic' !!!

I always eat lots more at breakfast times when I stay in Hotels Ginns - I just can't resist trying everything.

I DO miss that now I don't stay away.................

I could get chef to combine two pancakes into one so it is a fatty.... we have some small pans and he is an expert flipper overer with the pancake pan. In fact one of the staff more than happy to do it at the table for you. They can also bring it out to poolside.... nothing is too much trouble.

Glad it's not me that's having raw onion...

She's leaning on the lamp post at the corner of the street watching meals on wheels go by,

Oh me, oh my,

Dea

Dea Report 16 Jun 2011 13:03

Well Persie - you have indeed redeemed yourself so yes, I 'will' do breakfast tomorrow - It won't be of the same standard as this one though :-D

Maybe Cynthia could do Saturday?

I am happy to do Sunday + lunch, unless anyone else would prefer to do this, and perhaps we could have some volunteers for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until Sylvia returns?

Maybe you would do 'another stint' Persie? as you cook such interesting breakfasts.
