The 'familyhistoryhelpers' have got some spelling mistakes on their front page - not a good advert for their site.
If they cannot proof read, how much confidence on the rest of their research?

Well done Jax.....

I have been with GR since 2004, but did not come on to the boards till 2009, and even then I was just testing the water.

Coz I am really really shy.

I have got my own lamp post FbyG... it is several blocks from yours and I am doing a roaring trade... set up my own little table... making marmite sarnies.

Try a tour of the cemeteries in the Midsomer area... not one died of natural causes or old age.

Ta Cyns I have put up my post on drownings... I reckon it was the best one on that thread but then I am biased.

Hmm that's an idea make your own curtains and cut them on the bias... now that would look different.

I did'nt come on the boards until jan 2010. I would imagine half my posts are on this thread.

Getting pretty annoyed with this reporting business going on, just found out the only thread I worked on last night was removed??? No reason for them to do it thats why 3 posts of mine disappeared just as I was about to post number 10k.

Is someone trying to sabatage the site or something?

We seem to have midsomer murders on every afternoon HID likes it

Jax

This thread got zapped a long time ago and started again so would that mean you lost all your posts from then in your count.

Same goes where some people go back into threads that they have been on and delete their post and then you can't understand the flow of things.... Not that you can on here but it does have a little assemblance of order/disorder.

On the Aussie thread people have deleted their posts but the number of posts stayed the same and it originally said post deleted... these were removed when they changed the clock system awhile ago. The page count went down but the post count did not. For awhile there we didn't know where we were with the pages.

I had a look up thread a year ago...it was pretty popular there were about 1200 posts on it in the 3 months it was running....but that got reported and whoooshed...but then you did'nt get any warning beforehand.

Glad it has gone now but was pretty miffed at the time

Gin,

The Greasy Spoon menu was not bad and the price was certainly more within my range but you forgot to include any fried tomato. Breakfast without fried tomato with burnt skin just ain't breakfast.
