Dea Report 27 Dec 2011 07:01

Good morning Persie.

I think she is back today but if you have anything we could 'nibble on' while we wait that would be good <3

I will stick some bacon on and poach a few eggs to begin...

Will see what else I have available.

Dea

Dea Report 27 Dec 2011 07:19

Well, I can't eat it ALL Ginns but I will 'polish off' the mixed grill if someone could eat the kidneys for me, and I don't think I could eat the cornmeal grits (I have never had them but they sound more like animal feed to me ?? - We don't have them over here) ;-)

Thank you Persie <3 <3 <3

I don't eat grits either... we don't normally see them here either. It is very much a Southern State (USA) food.

Have recently seen polenta grits (think they called it something else).

I do like polenta cake or polenta toast with garlic mushrooms on it.

Good morning our little Rambo Dea - please put that knife away - it scares me somewhat.... :-D

Actually Cynths - I told a 'little fib' about that knife - It is my husband who always carries one of those in the car - very useful it is too.

It has spanners and screw drivers and al sorts of gadgets on it !! - Even a teeny weeny pair of scissors which fold out and really work. - It is amazing - he has had it for many many years.

However, I do have a little foldy-up stainless steel one which it very intricately designed and very pretty. I bought it in Toledo, Spain, which is a very famous place for steel.

I always had it with me when I was away on my trips so that I could slice up my little snacks of manchego cheese, bread rolls and chorizo sausage and salad etc. to munch in my Hotel room while I was waiting for Dinner.(They eat very late over there!) ;-)

The little mini bars in 'my' Hotel rooms were always well stocked with my tasty morsels. :-D

Dea

Dea Report 27 Dec 2011 10:58

I am going off to visit the grandchildren in a minute - they want to show me all their other new toys!!

It really is VERY slow on here and I am not truly convinced it will improve very significantly!

Anyway - enjoy the day - I will catch up with you in a couple of hours.
