My little old car has more than doubled it's value today!

I have just had a new exhast fitted - cost £66 so I reckon that as my lovely car is 23 years old now - the exhaust is probably worth mor than the car :-D :-D ;-)

It drives all quiet again now - the hole in the exhaust made it sound like a plane about to take off :-D

25 mins stuck in the queue at the multi storey car park and 5 mins to get home. Sheeeeeeeeesh.



I somehow cannot visualise Dea as a pilot..........hope your new exhaust works well. :-D

Arctually Cynths - I have flown a hellicopter !

Not really a 'pilot' as it DID have dual controls!

1000 feet up at 100 miles per hour - that was ME !!

Did my family Christmas yesterday.
Shattered now but relaxing today.
No 2 daughter goes away for Xmas.
Comes back late Tuesday with her OH and announces she is going out for the evening.
Finds something else to do while we are preparing food etc, Eats lunch then disappears for the afternoon.
Started dinner without them.
Eats dinner and disappears again.
Not happy.

It's taken me until now to get back on here (things to do), and read back on all yer doins'!


good job I was drinking anything otherwise I would have a very dirty screen with all yer descriptions!


My Christmas was very quiet and peaceful!



But I do wish we had thought of San Antonio for Christmas! I love that place!!

Corn Flakes, Triple Berry Oatmeal Crisp, Maple Buckwheat Flakes, Cocoa Pops, Rice Crispies, Multigrain Cheerios, Granola, Corn Squares


Hot cereal:-
Porridge, Instant Hot Oatmeal with Cranberry & Ginger, Yellow Corn Grits (gluten-free)


In the warmer:-

maple smoked bacon,
turkey sausages,
cheesy potato patties,
home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon,
smoked salmon omelette,
asparagus and goat cheese omelette,
spinach, feta and tomato omelette,
cheesy potato bake with eggs, sausage and bacon,
Huevas Rancheros,
oven-roasted grape tomatoes,
baked sliced yellow beetroot,
grilled mushrooms,
fried bread, black pudding,

mushroom quiche,
cheese and onion tarts,
smoked salmon quiche,

Ulster Fry-up,
