Lovely to see you back Sylvia!

I will have some home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon, loads of maple smoked bacon and oven-roasted grape tomatoes please!

This is all very delicious <3 <3 <3

Persie looked after us very well in your absence but put lots of extra 'exotic' creations out yesterday (after a lovely breakfast barbie).

Goodness knows what she would have served today if you had not returned ;-) :-D :-D

By the way Dea, Moreton Bay Bugs are not bugs they are crustaceans... like lobster or crayfish...

However here in NZ people have been known quite often to eat Huhu Grubs. It is a delicacy and is eaten when in the larvae stage before becoming a little beetle thingy..

I put golden syrup in my yoghurt tonight to make it a bit richer.

I had something you don't eat .. smoked salmon and salad with chunks of feta.

But I will have bacon tomorrow night with my salad..

For a moment I thought you had said Morecambe Bay Bugs...........I had visions of you paddling about in mud collecting the famous Morecambe Bay cockles.... :-D


I like cockles. I think they look like dead baby birds but I still like them.




Thank you for breakfast Sylvs...just deciding......er.....a little bit of bacon and then some fried bread and then........I can't see cos Dea is hovering around filling her plate as usual......... ;-)



There was certainly a lot of rain during the night and it's pouring now! Am hoping to take my friend out for half an hour later so I hope it soon stops. Her siblings are being very snooty about her going out because they reckon they have to have separate insurance.......tosh. tosh. tosh.


Where's Grace I wonder? Hope she's okay.


Must go and get sorted.......also have the grandchildren overnight.... :-S

Quiet here.....well get ready for the noise, Im in the kitchen soon with a huge fry up, well grill up really, except for the eggs..you cant grill those

And Im treating the boys to real bacon and lots of it...vegi sausage though ;-)
