Oooooooooooo yes Dea...And here is me still feel like wet Poo so what a good time we are gonna have before school starts on Weds...

He has been asking to come home for 3 days now BUT he also has a dicky tummy it seems Sooooooooooo all I hope is that its maybe a little homesick related....Wont let him stay so long at a time in future ,we will breakit up more even if the fuel costs are a bit higher at least he will be happier....

At least I now have biotics for my chest infection and steroids to control my Asthma as I have struggled a bit with that on top of the chest infection...
Think the Biotics are kicking in at last as I managed to get out of bed at 9.30am and am still awake..!!!

This evening he picks up his new friend to bring home from my Parents...A PUPPY all for him so they can play together...Mine are either past it or not interested as they say they belong to me or Man...He sounded really excited about it earlier.

Wonder what he will call him??

Asked what names he has given his fish he says"Fish" so Puppy Dog may soon be called DOG....

I think that is a good idea Fanns - He will be very confused staying away for such a time !! I know that they want to spend time with him but it must be quite unsettling for him at his age.

When he is with you he has your undivided attention and quiet and space to spread, whereas when he is with his parents he has to compete with the other 3 siblings, who, I am sure love him very much but it is a completely different environment!

Hope the steroids kick in soon - they help me a lot but I find they take a long time to start working !!

At least I can lock the puppy in a shed when it ticks me off ..,cant do that with Mr H can I or he will have the place kicked to bits in NO time and all the neighbours out wanting to know if he is ok....

Spose I could lock em in together though??? :-D

We still miss our dogs as we had them all our married life - one breed or another :-(


They can be expensive to keep Gins what with Vet's bills and so on.....

.......but I still miss them :-(

We're having a quiet day ..... but are going out for dinner this evening


We have a family tradition ...... the birthday person is taken out for dinner to a restaurant we have not yet been to ..... and is not told which it is.

So, I have no idea where we are going, or what type of food ...... except a comment was made that it "discouraged" children


so probably not one of the new MacD's or pizza :-D :-D


J phoned this morning while we were out for coffee, but will try again later this afternoon.

We had a VERY nice dinner at an Italian restaurant

They had cioppino (fish stew) on the menu, and I was tempted, because I like it ..... but was seduced by shoulder of Wild Boar, because I'd never had boar. It was delicious!

Service was excellent.

Pricey, but we'll definitely be going back
